Now I mustn't forget this one now must I!! Another job well done with superb coverage but a couple of questions: What's the story behind the dominoe's? Some or all of you managed to witness Hayley's sound check, but I don't recall reading how that happened either! Please do tell. Best wishes Grant

The poster in the window has just come into my possession, Thanks to my wife Glenda and Eugene who managed to keep it a secret from me. It appears to be a one off digital print..... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....................................... It's a big one, I may have to throw out a Renoir or a Van Gough to make room for it...... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hello Comet! I suggest you throw Van Gough out by his ear. You'll only have one to choose from! Richard

On the subject of microphones.. or not we were lucky enough to be able to sit in on the sound check in Derry. Karsten , Paddy, Glenda and myself.. A private Hayley concert for four people Hayley was at the microphone stand singing and she walked away over towards Ian on the piano still singing but the sound level did not drop.... we were at the very back of the hall as far away from the stage as we could be. I assumed Hayley either had a radio mic on her or had taken the mic with her but it was still on the mic stand as it had a lead instead of the usual Shure radio mic. Then I realised we were listening to Hayley singing UN AMPLIFIED. The acoustics of the hall obviously helped, but Hayley has an extremely powerful voice, without losing the delicacy of tone we all love her for. This for me was THE outstanding moment of the two concerts in Derry and Belfast, except maybe for the chocolate incident. The bar is half gone I hope to eat the other half in Celebration of the Brit Awards...........

Thanks to the British prime minister, A great burden has been lifted from the people of Ireland. I am sure the people of Derry can look forward to Hayley's next concert with lighter hearts. Below The Guild Hall from the Walls of Derry. To days news was surely better even than winning the world cup could ever have been.
