Sorry it has taken me so long to post these but I think the wait was worth while.
I have some more but I am trying to post a few pics on the forums of the people I saw over the two days.








This is a picture of the river from the tow path next to the floating stage


I am doollybird as Stephany said, I have had a lot of probs logging in.

I had a wonderful time and it was great for Hayley to have her family there.

Ps Yes it is a car you can see on stage, there was a man who played music by tapping /banging on the car and windows.

There's an article reviewing Hayley's performance in the Henley Standard.

Henley Festival: Saturday
Date: Mon, July 21, 2008

Opera star Hayley Westenra’s credentials are without question and her performance on the main stage was stunning.

Built in the Katherine Jenkins ‘pop-opera’ mould — young, pretty, nice voice — the New Zealander received a generous ovation from the appreciative crowd, as did 10-year-old Callum Chamberlain from Nettlebed, who sang his heart out in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Pie Jesu.

Each of Hayley Westenra’s songs drifted across the enclosure and sat perfectly with the calm summer’s night, which highlighted the strength of her voice.

Hayley's credentials may be impeccible, but any "reviewer" who begins talking about Hayley with the words "opera star" clearly knows less about music than my cat. If it wasnt for the fact that nice words in print are always a good thing, I would say thi wasnt worth the electrons it was exciting on my monitor.
