Hi Mary! Thank you for your report! Great to hear that you liked the Henley Festival and that you managed to speak a few words with Hayley. It must be so nice for her to have her dad and her brother around. Thomas

Sorry it has taken me so long to post these but I think the wait was worth while. I have some more but I am trying to post a few pics on the forums of the people I saw over the two days. This is a picture of the river from the tow path next to the floating stage I am doollybird as Stephany said, I have had a lot of probs logging in. I had a wonderful time and it was great for Hayley to have her family there. Maryxx Ps Yes it is a car you can see on stage, there was a man who played music by tapping /banging on the car and windows.

Hello Mary! Thanks for posting the wonderful photographs. I've got to ask, if that car is on the floating stage in the river, did the owner have to pay road tax? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

There's a small article in the Daily Mail today about Cortes' non-appearance. Hayley gets a mention:

Mary! Thank you very much for your wonderful pictures. Hayley looks beautiful in that dress, doesn't she? James, many thanks for posting the informative article about Cortes. I sympathize with his fans who paid the (very) expensive tickets, accommodation and transport but these things happen, unfortunately. Stephany

Thanks for posting the extract and the photograph, Stephany! It's good to see that the reviewer, Dan Hearn, recognises the strength of Hayley's voice. Richard

Hi all, There's an article reviewing Hayley's performance in the Henley Standard. Stephany Hayley's credentials may be impeccible, but any "reviewer" who begins talking about Hayley with the words "opera star" clearly knows less about music than my cat. If it wasnt for the fact that nice words in print are always a good thing, I would say thi wasnt worth the electrons it was exciting on my monitor. Jon
