Hi all,
Thanks for the welcome and the good tips regarding concerts.
This is quite an active forum and I have really enjoyed reading through some of the threads.
I should be able to make a pre-gathering around 4:30/5:00 provided I don't miss the train from Derry. Who knows, a late night at the Derry concert may result in a late morning!
I look forward to meeting the HWI members who will be attending and possibly meeting Haley.

I was thinking to do a Belfast tour on the monday after the concert, but see what happens now..................................... JOYCE. Joyce, a few things to see in belfast include the titanic memorial, the belfast wheel (similar to the london eye, but not as big!), and i'm sure there are tour buses that show you around belfast.

I think meeting up outside the Waterfront Hall from 4.30.pm is a good idea. I am not sure if I will be able to make it to the pre-concert meeting outside the Waterfront Hall with the other HWI members. But if I can make it for the pre-concert meeting, how will I know who the HWI members are, as i'm sure there will be many non-HWI members attending too? ......is there a secret HWI handshake or wink or something? Also, does Hayley come on stage at 7.30pm or is that when the support act starts? Speaking of support acts, who will that be?

Look out for a group of animated gentlemen wearing HWI tartan ties (bluish) - chatting with equally animated ladies (without the ties). Easier still - look in the front row. If still in doubt, shout, "Kiiii Weeee!" - as loud as you can. I haven't heard of any 'support act', apart from Fiona (violin) and Ian (piano). See you there. Paddy

Have a great time at the concert and in Belfast city. But remember to take your umbrella! . Thanks for your good wishes Martin, I'm sure we will! Coming from Scotland, remembering an umbrella will be no problem! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIf anyone has time to spare, I'd recommend taking a bus tour of the city and also taking a tour of the City Hall where the city council meets. I'm only there for one night so won't have much time for myself but what a night it's looking set to be! Best wishes David
