Yay!! Thomas, this is absolutely fantastic!! I'm delighted to hear that you can come. It's going to be a lot of fun i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif....and we couldn't be more "international" with representants of Holland, Germany, France, the US and the UK By the way, Grant mentioned in another thread that Fiona Pears' official website listed all her appearances with Hayley. Example: BUT...look at this one : Hayley isn't mentioned even though she's headlining the show. I hope that means Fiona also performs solo numbers. Maybe some of you guys can ask her at Liverpool street?

Hi all, I know there was a request about not bringing bags at this concert. I wanted to bring my Odyssey tour programme to have it signed by Hayley and Fiona. Do you think I should bring a bag anyway and leave it to the cloakroom or do I have more chances to wait for another concert? I'm not even sure they will have time to meet us afterwards. Stephany PS : 66 days is soooo long!!

Hi Thomas Its great that you can join us, it just wouldnt have been the same without you Stephany, I'm not sure about taking a bag in with you - when they say "bag" do they mean a large back-pack type thing ? I'm just thinking, if you were to bring a small handbag (big enough for a CD of course) would that count as "a bag" ? Surely, most ladies will want/need thier handbag with them !! Either that, or can you find something to wear with big pockets i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Just a thought ! Mark

Just to leave a few things inside like my insert CDs and my Odyssey tour programme I'm not sure about the big pockets though Thanks for your answer! Stephany

Stephany/Mark,
Re searching bags. It all depends on the mood at the time as to whether or not they'll search bags, but if they do, they will also require a quick look through handbags.
The best approach is to perhaps take a small handbag, or wait until one of the other concerts such as the RAH, Bath etc..
With some of these places, it's best to travel as lightly as possible - I don't even take a jacket to most events as it's easier to deal with the freezing temperatures than carrying or leaving jackets somewhere as it can be seriously hot inside these places..

Hi Comet, I'm very happy to hear that you can make it. Ready to be "westenwowed" for the second time? Chris, thank you for the answer. I'll try to avoid the handbag and bring what's really necessary (camera, cellphone, ID and money!). I hope London is not too cold at the end of August.

We got a bit of a 'heads up' from Fiona tonight about this event. In addition to Hayley, both Fiona and Dave Dobbin will be performing. Fiona is delighted to have her own spot and although she knows she will be playing for Hayley, she thinks she may also be playing for Dave.
Dave Dobbin was at Toast last year so I KNOW you are going to have a great time with those three!!
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, Thanks for the update. I had to google Dave Dobbin's name to have more info but the samples I heard were interesting. I'm delighted to have the opportunity to see a whole range of other Kiwi artists performing live. Are you sure you don't want to come, Grant? Best wishes, Stephany

Stephany, I think you'll be fine with a handbag. I think they do this announcement to avoid that people generally bring bags with them. I've been to concerts where they check your bag when you enter but I've never seen anybody locking away a handbag. I will have a CD booklet with me as well and a pen for Hayley to sign it. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Let's see if it works out. Comet, it's great you make it as well. So we can add Ireland to the list which makes our group even more international. It's also nice to hear that Dave Dobbin will perform as well. Like Grant I saw him at Toast NZ 2006 and he gathered the biggest crowd in front of the stage. Thomas
