Pity a lot of the links and photos have disappeared from this exceptional HWI concert thread, as I said in my previous post, I never had the heart to reuse the SD cards from this concert. At the time 2GB cards were the biggest I could get and they cost a pretty penny at that time. I think you can get 128GB cards for less now. But price and value are two different things, the material on them is priceless.
this is one of them, you may have seen them before, the sound quality is dreadful because the camera had an omnidirectional microphone which means it picked up sound from all directions, unlike our ears which pick up most sound from in front of us and reduces the sound from behind us. so, we heard much better quality at the rail of the stage than is on the video, but the memories are priceless.
I have been reading this concert thread again while this video was uploading to YouTube, we all had so much fun leading up to, during and after this concert, where have you all gone my friends, sign in and let us know how you all are doing.

Woohoo! Another "new" video! Thanks Comet 😁 woa ! I just looked at the date, it will be eleven years ago in a few days. One of my favourites of the gig was I hope I never, here it is with May it be. another rough recording but it gives a great sense of the athmosphere at the venue. a 2GB card could only hold two or three songs, so it limited the ammount you could record at a gig and you had to change cards after about every twelve minutes of recording. Most of the links earlier in this thread are to download sites or are no longer available. I don't think people want to go to the bother of downloading anymore, Instant connectivity and gratification is what is required these days. I just found rosegrowers version when I posted my own, the sound is better on his.
