Well-done Thomas, your pictures are excellent. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSorry - I couldn't resist to post this one again. Thomas Congratulations Thomas! I think you have managed to sum up the entire evening in one picture. It was just one heck of a fun night. Best wishes Grant Stephany

Hello everyone! I had the opportunity to be at Shepherds Bush in spirit, if not in person. Below is a picture of me with the group. I know that most of you didn't notice me, but Hayley certainly did. Who do you think she is looking at? She was also kind enough to autograph my guitar! Graeme, I didn't want to burden you with Photoshop, so I gave an entirely new meaning to the words "cut & paste"! Note: If anyone is offended by this, I'll remove. Best regards, Gene Well done Gene. I get a bit of a kick out of "editing" pics. Shucks. If I might suggest that you make any future "edits" between 600 & 800 pix wide as they're a bit too hard to read otherwise. Hayley definitely seems to have seen "something" down there! Graeme

Joe, I should have remembered that you are from the Scranton area! You, Tim and I need to get together for lunch sometime! I'm in Cherry Hill, 10 minutes east of Philly. If you two guys are ever in this area or if I'm ever in your neck of the woods, let's plan on it! Best, Gene. Wow, wish I'd realised how many Hayley fans there were when I was in PA.. Thomas, that picture with me in is just evil! Evil, I say ~Chris

Firstly, welcome to the forum Adam. I see you are also from London, so I hope to meet you at another Hayley concert soon. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'll have to repeat this photograph again, because I know what Paul is saying to Hayley... "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Gene and welcome to our HWI gathering at Shepherds Bush!! You are quite right that Hayley was looking at you, I also heard what she whispered to Stephany, it went something like. "Gosh! Looks like Gene's perfected his teleportation machine - no getting away from him now!!" Don't worry too much Gene, I don't think she'll mind too much, just try not to land on stage during a concert!! Best wishes Grant

Hi Richard. I hope you are right Richard. I can't actually remember what had just happened at the time. But sometimes my mouth says things that have not been authorised by my brain and that looks like one of those moments. I have to admit I did get some surprise when I saw this one. "sort of weird Internet moment" but I'm getting used to it. I will post some pictures of this event in the future ( My revenge will be slow and sweet i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ) as I am currently using a computer from the last century, I don't think it even has a sound card, I am having a little difficulty with tech items at the moment and am waiting for a replacement computer. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee comet

Well yes, we all have our own tastes. I have a colleague who hates anything classical who I sometimes take to work. I'm still trying to pluck up the courage to play one of Hayley's CDs when he is in the car (they are all always there permanently of course). But since he is an ex professional rugby player, I might have been able to interest him in Hayley's role as the All Blacks' mascot! I first encountered Hayley at a live performance when she was just 16. It took her 15 seconds to convince me that she was a world class singer. I just could not believe my own ears. Since then her voice has changed somewhat. She may have lost a little of her range, but what she has is still stunning. And she now has real power in her voice, something that thrills me every time I hear her. Today I played Treasure in the car, my favourite of Hayley's albums, there is so much of her invested in it. It is hugely underrated in my opinion. Every time I hear it, it seems a different song stands out. Today "The Heart Worships" and "Bist Du Bei Mir" particularly stood out, but on another day it might be something else. Then I listen to the CW CD or DVD, or West(enra) Side Story or the ones from this concert, and realise how far she has come since those early days, or even since she recorded Treasure. I was taught that there are three things that matter in a classical singer, power, range and control. At this time there are very few singers in the world that get near Hayley for range and control, and her power is very respectable, for example I think she outpowers all of the other girls in Celtic Woman,(as well as outranging them and outcontrolling them (though to be fair Meav can nearly match her for range) . This is wonderful to hear, if we remember how Andrea Bocelli outpowered Hayley on their duet on Odyssey. Who knows where she will be in a few years time. I can hardly wait

Jeff, Never happen - not with the All Blacks playing Yes Chris, the only way New Zealand can lose is if Dave puts a bet on them !! I see the French lost yesterday (hehehehe !). Voila !! That's what happens when you don't have your lucky mascot to sing the anthem ! Serves them right for banning Hayley from doing so today. Since the All Blacks are playing Italy, I'm sure the crowd will observe a respectful silence for one of the greatest singers of them all.

I suspect that Hayley and Kathryn spent yesterday afternoon on the beach in Marseilles in anticipation of today's game at the Stade Velodrome and they have not yet seen my videos. So for Kiwis and All Blacks fans around the world I have posted "God Defend New Zealand" on YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmZR92G7CkMA referee has to remain impartial.

Yes Chris, the only way New Zealand can lose is if Dave puts a bet on them !! Hi Jeff, But as Stephany might say after last night, It's not the battle that counts, it's the war! Dave may have lost one skirmish but I've heard he made a nice overall profit on the war... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Hello folks! I was about to say this thread is drifting off-topic, but then I remembered the show at Shepherds Bush was a send-off for the All Blacks. Somehow that thought wasn't uppermost in my mind at the time, or since! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard
