Hello Steve, Aww, she gave you a hug!! You should feel so previlaged!! Dori I think Tim and I were going to keep quiet about it. (Sometimes it pays to be last in and last out.)

Hi Steve.
I think we all had a few 'firsts' last Friday and it was certainly a very special evening for everyone and certainly for Hayley.
I think how the hugs came about stemmed from my review of the Hurtwood concert, where I craftily engineered my hug. On Friday, I heard Tim ask if he could have a hug next time. Well, of course she gave him a hug there and then.
She was obviously feeling very close to us all and decided that hugs were appropriate. Unfortunately, I was a bit too far away to claim another one.
Glad you enjoyed yours!
Best wishes Grant

Whilst (at least) 3 young men suffered as a result of the cancellation of this concert, 18 other assorted internationals were really quite grateful that someone didn't leave another concert early to fly up to Scotland. Hey Drew! I bet that's why Dunkeld was cancelled! Hayley knew that so many of us were coming to Shepherds Bush, she felt she just had to organise a party for us! Best wishes Grant

drew, I just wanted to once again thank you for the wonderful clips from Friday night. Last night, I converted them into MP3 format, threw ID3 tags into them and copied them onto my iPod so that I can listen to them whilst driving to/from work.. a live Hayley concert is just the thing to wake me up in the mornings ~chris

Oh and by the way, the reason I did not join you all in the WALKABOUT was this. Drew and myself were outside the Walkabout when himself in the black and white jumper came up and started sort of chatting at us. "Jumper Man" decided he was going to follow the rest of the HWI members into the Walkabout, so he went to the door to get in, there was a bit of an altercation and flailing of arms with the doorman of African origin, unfortunately just as Jumper man was being physically ejected, I walked up to the door, the bouncer had seen me talking to Jumper Man and assumed I was with him so I got the same treatment. Thanks Jumper Man whoever you are, I owe you one, Maybe Hayley can sign your plaster casts next time comet I get up at 3am every morning for about one hour to check that my systems are behaving at various sites around the world. If I am lucky I go back to sleep afterwards. During that hour, if time permits, I might dip into HWI to check on updates to avoid the long trawl the next day. I found Comet's post this morning and subsequently could not get back to sleep through worry. On Friday night (Saturday morning), after saying goodnight to Comet, I went back to the carpark to feed a hungry meter and then drove to the garage on the green to fill up with diesel. It was probably 20 minutes before I was back outside the Empire in the car heading north, whilst the die hards were drinking the night away in the Walkabout. With my eyes front on the road I then looked in the rear view mirror to see three young ladies standing on the corner at the junction of Shepherd's Bush Green and Goldhawk Road. The familiar looking taller young lady in the middle was on her mobile phone (or two), presumably trying to find out where a promised cab had got to. I stopped, just outside the Walkabout, and no sooner had I stopped than a man tried to get into my car thinking that I was a 'minicab'. Should I drive all the way round Shepherd's Bush Common (about 5 minutes drive, it is a long one-way system with 6 sets of traffic lights) to rescue the damsels in distress or should I continue to drive north. I kicked myself all the way home. If I had tried to reverse back past the Empire the damsels would probably have scattered in panic. I presume that the girls got home safely and that the were not spotted by 'Jumper Man'. If there is a next time I shall drive backwards 'just in case'. Better the Devil you know.

Hi Folks. was I imagining things or was the pronunciation of the lyrics to Hine E Hine slightly different to the original recordings like Live in NZ DVD or PURE ?. I haven't managed to download it yet , I keep getting a " 509 BANDWIDTH LIMIT EXCEEDED " notice. But I am looking forward to collecting the whole set. I have "I Hope I Never " and I just keep playing it if I'm at the computer, It's a right little piece of magic, I love it.. Thanks Drew XXX Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...................................... comet

Hi Steve Steve wrote Wow Steve - what more can I say I mentioned earlier in this thread about when I asked Hayley if we could take a group shot. She looked at me with that slightly mischievous grin (you know the one) and unexpectedly reached out and held my arm, as if reassuring me - that was also a lovely warm gesture. My theory is that as we were at a private party and Hayley was amongst friends - and I feel I can include HWI in that group, Hayley I felt was very relaxed, much more able to be herself and I think felt able to be more affectionate (if thats the appropriate word) towards us, being out of the gaze of the public eye. Best wishes Mark

Hello all and greetings from the states. Just curious as to who traveled the farthest to see the concert. Regards, Gene

Hello Gene! Tim travelled the furthest to see Hayley at Shepherds Bush, coming all the way from Pennsylvania. Perhaps surprisingly, Caitlin had the shortest journey. She comes from Minnesota, but at the moment she's living in Central London. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany had the longest journey home. She was supposed to return to Paris through the Channel Tunnel, but she was flying so high after the concert she was over the moon! Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Stephany. When I try to download the videos It appears to be down loading from ******.****.free.fr. The blue bar fills for a few minutes But when I look in DOWNLOADS on my PC I cannot find them. Is there some other default setting I do not know about ? where do the files go When I downloaded Drew's first few they came through to "DOWNLOADS" and I could find them easily. Sorry for bothering you again about it, but maybe it will help others troubleshoot the same problem. very Puzzled comet
