Hi Joyce, I completely understand your need to have absolute confirmation of this event because you need to confirm your flights and hotel bookings. All I can say is this: As Stephany has pointed out, Bedlam Management have confirmed the event. That is as close to an absolute guarantee as we can ever hope to obtain. Naturally, there can never be a 100 per cent guarantee because there is always the tiny chance that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Hayley may have to pull out at the last minute. For example, she just might be ill. However, that is extremely unlikely and I know that Hayley and everyone associated with her will do everything possible to ensure that this event, and all the others that I confirmed yesterday, will go ahead as planned. Stephany, you asked if the stalls are usually the better seats. It is a matter of opinion but, for me, yes they are. At least for a solo performer anyway. I sometimes prefer to sit in the circle for an orchestral concert. I strongly favour a central seat even if I have to be a few rows back. All we can do now is to hope they don't remove all the seats. Can't have Richard standing again, can we? I hope to see many of you there, folks! Roger

I'm thinking about going to this event. I suppose it really depends on the price of tickets for me. But I am thinking about going. <3 Caite

Hi Roger, Thanks for your post. You reassured me at 100% and I will confirm my Eurostar tickets+accomodation as soon as possible. When the concert tickets are available, I will follow your advice and choose a seat in the stalls. I also like to be at the center, but generally being too close can be tricky because I prefer to have an ensemble view of the stage. Obviously, if Hayley is performing alone with a minimum of musicians, I wouldn't mind being at the first row i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifStephany PS : As Mark said, Caite, you MUST come

Who came up with a name like that? Hayley's Kiwi Ceili...yea, why not after all. Wouldn't this be Hayley's first concert ever with a standing audience? Are we supposed to dance? Stephany, still confused

Hi Folks Hayley has performed in similar circumstances before, I think there are clips in Joe's / Cottars boards of Hayley performing for a dancing audience

Oooh, now that you say it, Comet...absolutely true! Errr I was intending to take a nice gown but I will probably go for jeans & tshirt instead. They say it starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm. Four hours of Hayley standing non-stop? Wow for Hayley, ouch for my legs! I will probably take choose the stalls...I'm still thinking about it. Because all balconies are mainly seated (first come first serve basis) so if we come VERY early...I don't know. What do you guys think?

Sounds interesting and if standing close to the stage, then looks like a good opportunity for photography!!
It also says from 7 - 11 pm that's A VERY long time for Hayley to perform so I wonder what else might be happening?
Think I'll wait to see what happens over the next few days. May even opt for Beverley instead.
Best wishes Grant

What do you guys think? If I came (that's still up in the air) I would want to be able to dance and groove. After all, it IS a Ceili. <3 Caite

Four hours of Hayley standing non-stop? Wow for Hayley, ouch for my legs! Hey, come on, Stephany. It's only two hours per leg! I wish we knew a few more details about this event. I mean, how much of Hayley's normal repertoire is really suitable for a Ceili? I don't believe she would perform for anything like four hours so my guess is that there are likely to be several guests. Someone called Fiona Peers could liven things up! Roger

7pm-11pm is probably an estimate time. Most of the shows at the Shepherds Bush Empire have the same schedule. Hey, come on, Stephany. It's only two hours per leg! Roger What would I do for Hayley seriously...my poor legs, sigh. Anyway, I wonder if there will be a lot of people given that it's a standing concert. I also hope we can meet Hayley afterwards!
