Hi James, I am delighted to hear you are coming to Shepherds Bush. Please introduce yourself to any of us as soon as you spot us. With you, that makes 17 members! With Hayley and Steve Abbott (who I am told is going), that makes 19 members. If we could just persuade one more, we would have ten per cent of the forum present! Incidentally, if ANYONE out there who is going to the concert, non-members included, please do likewise. It should be quite an occasion and we would welcome all Hayley fans. Hope to see as many as possible of you on Friday. Roger Just been given permission for a night on the tiles. See you all later. Sorry that I shall miss the picnic. That makes your 10% Roger. PS. For any new members attending, you will recognise me from my avatar.

I wonder how the concert is going? It is probably the grandest assembly of HWI... ...so far... George, give my best regards to your wife Denise, and to the happy couple. May your daughter and your soon to be son-in-law have a long and happy marriage Congratulations

Longstanding members of HWI were last seen entering the Walkabout (Australian Watering Hole) on Shepherds Bush Green (next to the Empire), being led 'astray' by none other than Steve Abbott.
So the party is not yet over.

Well it started with Pokarekare Ana and it ended with God Defend New Zealand. These two numbers you might expect from Hayley when the evening was dedicated to the All Blacks.
What came in between those numbers you will have to wait for. A few surprises, all of them pleasant.
And it is up to Roger to describe the special dedication number for HWI. A dream come true.

Longstanding members of HWI were last seen entering the Walkabout (Australian Watering Hole) on Shepherds Bush Green (next to the Empire), being led 'astray' by none other than Steve Abbott. So the party is not yet over. Unfortunately, I had to leave before that as I'm out all weekend.. but it was still a bl**dy brilliant night! I loved the way that as an opening to Hine a Hine, Hayley referred to it being used as the closedown on TV so many years ago. I haven't thought of that for ages, and have never made the connection. I remember the sleepy little kiwi falling asleep with the bedtime hat on.. ahh, TVNZ back in the old days Hayley and Dave Dobbyn singing 6 months in a leaky boat was a highlight, as was Dave doing the Footrot Flats theme from "A Dogs Tail".. That's always been my favourite from him. I did comment to Fiona afterwards that next time he should do a little less Crowded House and a little more of The Exponents - but then again, I am a Christchurch lad! She said she'd pass that on.. heh! Right, off out for the day, so I'll look forward to hearing from everyone else by the time I get home To everyone I saw last night, it was good to see you again, as well as to finally meet some of the people I've been chatting to for a while. Some of you I'll no doubt see at the All Angels concert in a weeks' time. Oh, got home after midnight to find my All Angels ticket waiting for me, so that was a pleasant surprise! Yay! ~Chris

Hello folks! To keep the suspense going, I can tell you that one of our members had a particularly memorable evening. I'm sure she'll tell you all about it when she gets home! Best Wishes, Richard

What an evening - not just the concert but the HWI gathering also. I have never seen so many people with ear to ear smiles all night! But sorry, I am not going to review instead to leave it to others (one in particular) together with what I am sure will be a fantastic collage of photos. So I am afraid we must ask for a little patience to allow the members in question to get home and gather their thoughts after what was a unique Hayley concert. If anyone ever doubted Hayley's versatility then they should have been there last night. Suffice to say that it exceeded everyone's expectations and that there were some very special moments during and after the concert. What a rave! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin ps It was a pleasure to finally meet Stephany last night who I can divulge was totally, totally HAYLEYWOWED.
