If we're having lunch in Walkabout we probably won't need a picnic. The only place for that would be in the middle of Shepherds Bush Green, surrounded by all the traffic. Hi Richard, If we have lunch in Walkabout, and we don't get away from the Empire until 11pm or later, I think we might require further sustenance somewhere in between! Maybe a picnic in the late afternoon or early evening might be the answer? Surely Holland Park is nearby, isn't it? Of course, that is one of Hayley's old stamping grounds! Just a thought. Roger

Thanks! - Elizabeth Hi Libby My avatar is a photo taken of Hayley when she performed at Celtic Colours Int'l Festival in 2006. Here's the full photo: She was a guest of fiddler Natalie MacMaster at Natalie's sold-out opening concert. Incidentally, this concert is supposed to air on PBS this autumn, with a DVD release in November. I hope that equally good photos will be taken at Shepherds Bush Empire in London on Friday 31st August 2007 Joe

Hello Roger and everybody! Holland Park is about half a mile from Shepherds Bush, so we could wander up there during the afternoon. Let's all meet at Walkabout and take it from there. Congratulations to Thomas, our latest Maestro! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSix days to go!!! See you there, Richard

WOW! 20 pages so far in this thread and there is still one week until the concert begins! Thomas Congratulations Thomas on joining the elite. You "foreigners" ought to receive extra gold stars for so many excellent posts (and pictures) in a foreign language. Well done.

Hi everyone Firstly, congratulations to Thomas & Drew for reaching 500 posts - very well done. Gosh - (to quote Hayley) I've only been away for a couple of days and quite a few pages have been added to this thread . Oh, I don't know what to do - my plan originally was to drive down, park in the carpark as suggested by Chris and then drive home after the concert. However, it seems it could be difficult to find a parking space during the daytime on Friday and I dont want to be "messing about" driving round etc So many of you seem to be staying at the Grantly Hotel and I see they still have rooms available - would that be more relaxing and more enjoyable I ask myself Mark
