Hello Roger and everybody! I've never tried an Australian bar before, but it's literally next door to the Empire, so it could be the ideal meeting place. Alternatively I think there's an Irish pub next door the other way. I'll have a closer look about ten days before the concert. Best Wishes, Richard

Either of those sound fine, Richard. I will leave it to your judgement and we will let everyone know in good time. Roger

Hi everyone Sounds good to me so far . I plan to arrive in London around lunchtime and as you know the area Richard, would be happy to go with your suggestions. As you say, if its a nice day, a picnic (even if it is just supermarket sandwiches) with a glass of Stephany's "French" red sounds ideal Its not long now Mark

I'll also ask my daughter for a recommendation as she lives in Shepherds Bush. Whilst it is a very cosmopolitan district there are some very nice places to eat and drink but also some not so nice. Martin

This is certainly beginning to sound like a very special gathering and I'm sorry that I cannot make the concert. It would mean an overnight stay, and I have commitments on Saturday that make that impossible! However! if there is going to be a lunch time gathering, or even pre-prandial drinks before the concert (Look it up Roger! ) Count me in!!I just knew I'd find a way to meet Stephany!! Best wishes Grant P.S. I'll bring the Green & Black's, but it won't be for Hayley

We got a bit of a 'heads up' from Fiona tonight about this event. In addition to Hayley, both Fiona and Dave Dobbin will be performing. The venue's website has been slightly updated. They added Dave Dobbin's name to the listing. Nothing that we didn't already know! Stephany

It is good to see that our star is in the ascendancy. At Toast last year Dave Dobbyn was headlining and Hayley was in support.

He's "just friends" with the rest of us. graeme PS Grant: I still have not been able to drop "preprandial" into any conversations. Our spell checker hasn't heard of it either.
