Hi everyone! I saw Hayley's performance on Hour of Power today (I had seen it online already, but there's something extra-special about seeing it on a TV screen -- relatively rare in Canada!). This has topped just about every performance Hayley has ever done (except 'I Dreamed a Dream,' that's still my favourite). Like several others here, I prefer it to the CD version. It feels so uplifting and energizing, like a breath of fresh air. Mr. Shuller's comments were very sweet, heartfelt, and spot-on. Hayley just radiates this air of humility and love... I think everyone in the audience felt blessed by the gift she shared with them.  Oksy |

Hello again everybody!  I've just watched the video again, and there is no doubt that this was one of Hayley's finest performances. I would very much like a DVD of the service with Hayley singing "Abide With Me" although I assume they will be Region 1 only, is this correct? There is no indication of this on the Hour of Power web site.

Grant, you should send them an email before ordering but it's highly possible that they only have Region 1 DVDs.  |

Hello everyone, I did record Hour of Power yesterday on Sky One TV in the UK but it was the following episode: Evel Knievel's Leap of Faith 1942 04/22/07 Hayley's episode is listed as: Power to Tear Down Your Walls 1946 05/20/07 Therefore, it seems reasonable to assume that Hayley's broadcast will be in four weeks time in the UK, probably the week before "Jekyll" is currently scheduled to start. I shall record it then... in higher quality than the website version... but someone please remind me nearer the time I have now set my Sky device to record to record every episode of Hour of Power until further notice, as a precaution. But the system isn't infallible. Wow, this really is one of Hayley's best performances!  It gave me the chills hearing it, and the last verse was so glorious! I absolutely loved it. Hayley had a really cute dress too! |

Hi Cathleen I agree with you, it was one of her best performances and I also liked what she was wearing, something different from her usual concert dress, really informal and yes "cute" is the word I would have used too  Best wishes Mark |

For any Australian Hayley fans who are reading this: I emailed Hour of Power re the rebroadcasting on Sydney Channels of the Service with Hayley as guest. (ie this thread) Here's a part quote of it: "Yes the correct episode of Hayley Westenra will be June 20th at 5am Ch 10.We hope that you enjoy the services." I had also asked how we went about buying a DVD of that service & was told: ....Order your copy after the Service is aired in Australia. Hope this is of use to you. Graeme...Sorry I forgot to ask about Region as my players play anything. I would hazard a guess that,as the distribution of the DVD is being allowed here after the airing of the Service, that it would be a PAL system DVD Region 4 or regionless (NTSC or) PAL. |

I have tried to order the DVD, but without success, tried the UK / ROI but only got an e mail address,
If anyone in the UK / Europe area figures it out would you let me know how ?
I know it's probably simple when you know how, but I don't...............................

Hi Comet, I know that you and several other HWI members are interested in purchasing DVD's from Hayley's appearance on the "Hour of Power". I have contacted the Crystal Cathedral and have inquired on what the procedure is for people in the UK and Europe to acquire the DVD's. They told me they will get back to me as soon as possible.
