Milewalker, I have disagreed with you before for what it's worth. I personally think you just have a really hard time accepting Hayley for the person she is in true life. It sometimes seems to me you are afraid to mention something truly positive and true about Hayley. You are allowed to disagree of course about my findings. Hayley is simply all the things Robert Schuller said about her so kindly. I would sincerely hope he was honest as well! Hayley simply acknowledged his observations about her in the only way she knows...humbly. It is therefore an admirable characteristic of her not to fall over backwards with words of appreciation. I am also sure she would have blushed inside while listening to Robert. And about mentioning her new Album...give her a break...she needs to eat just like you and me. There, I have written it. Take care, Marianne Hear, Hear Marianne !!! Martin Hi Everyone, Marianne,I couldn't agree with you more as Martin said “Hear Hear” and I will also say “HEAR HEAR HEAR” That was a beautiful version of Abide With Me, simply, BRILLIANT Rodders, CH CH NZ

I have not yet examined the recording closely but if it was sung "live", that is without doubt the best rendition of "Abide With Me" that I have ever heard. It was a truly exceptional performance. Cheers, Dave Hi Dave, I am totally intrigued about you wanting to check out if Hayley sang live. Sorry, but I do not understand the reason (yet). Hi Marianne, Simply because it was so good and I had only watched it once when I wrote that. My gut reaction was "live" but I always check it later. There are few singers in the World who can sound "live" in front of an audience as good as in a studio production but Hayley is one of them, and as others have said, she sometimes does even better "live" as she clearly feels the moment better when live in front of an audience. But Hayley doesn't sing live 100% of the time (only 95% lol) due to the policy of a few TV shows and I don't know how they normally do it on Hour of Power. But yes, I am certain now that it was indeed sung "live". Cheers, Dave

Thanks for the confirmation Dave.
I still can't get over this performance of Hayley's, but hey, I guess if you put a world class singer with a world class voice in a world class venue like the Crystal Cathedral, it must be truly inspirational.
and Stephany, ..... yes, I'm still floating!
Best wishes Grant

Hello again everybody! I've just watched Hayley's exquisite performance again via the link to the Crystal Cathedral's website. While I was there I also watched a glorious 5 minute video of the Crystal Cathedral Choir singing 'Hallelujah', and I strongly advise everybody to see it. You can find it just below Hayley's video here:- www.hourofpower.org/video/video.cfmI'm sure that was live too! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

I forgot about the Cup Final at Wembley...I never knew that Abide With Me was sung at the final. Hi Joe, Yes it's been sung before the start of every cup Final since 1927! Today, it was led my two singers who many people will agree are pretty special... Lesley Garrett and Sarah Brightman. I have it recorded and I will upload it later but don't expect it to be as good or as moving as Hayley's version But now, I have some football to watch... logging off! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Hi all, When I first reported to you my "Hayley Experience" at the Crystal Cathedral, I was under the impression that the sevice I attended would be the one broadvast on the Hour of Power. I know you are all wondering now what I was talking about. The Crystal Cathedral has two sevices every Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00. The H of P broadcast that you all viewed was the 11:00 service. I only attended the 9:30 serrvice which is the one I shared with all of you. By the way, it was videotaped as well as the 11:00 service. I really feel fortunate now that I got to see both of Hayley's performances of "Abide With Me" which were both equally as beautiful and inspiring. I have already ordered the DVD of the H of P Broadcast. I wonder now if the C.C. will ever broadcast the 9:30 service. I hope they decide to do this because then all of you would be able to see both performances. Best wishes, Geralynn

Hi Geralynn,
Thank you for the clarification. Unless I have missed something, I don't think we were aware that Hayley would be performing twice. I suspect it is unlikely that they would broadcast the earlier performance but you never know!

Hi everyone This is a truly fantastic performance, it was like I was there - no doubt it was live. The look on Hayleys face when she was listening to the reverend's compliments was priceless. I felt he said what each of us would like to say to Hayley Thanks to everyone involved. Mark

Hello Geralynn and everybody! I would imagine they record both services, then edit the TV broadcast together from the two recordings. Alternatively, they might treat the first service as a dress rehearsal for the second. Best Wishes from London, Richard

I had fun watching this video again today One thing that I really really enjoyed was the when the pastor asked her what the biggest blessing God has brought into her life. And then not a millisecond later she says her family... not her singing, not anything else but her time being with her family and her little brother and sister. Is that cool or what?!!!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Peter
