Hello Andrew and everybody! I have a very suspicious mind today. I hope these tickets aren't being sold by somebody who's simply trying to make a profit out of Hayley's popularity! Edit: I don't think the Celebration board is the right place for this topic, so I've moved it to the Hayley in Concert board. Best Wishes, Richard

Tickets for this event are sold online here. I believe it's the first time I see Hayley being touted as "the UK’s most popular download classical artist". Best wishes, Stephany

Hi everyone, Jose Carreras has been interviewed by "The Daily post". He briefly talks about meeting again with Hayley at Llangollen. Here is the full article. Best wishes, Stephany [/color] So what will Carreras sing in Llangollen? He said: "It is quite a different programme. The first half will be a selection of Italian and Spanish songs with the orchestra, conducted by Maestro Jimenez. "In the second half we are going to perform MissaCriolla, by Argentine composer Ariel Ramirez. It will be with the group Los Calchakis, who play with the typical instrument of the Andes region. It's a beautiful piece, which is somehow melancholic, mystic and folkloric." Carreras was self-effacing when I mentioned he will be emulating Pavarotti and Domingo who have previously wowed crowds at Llangollen. He said: "It will be a pleasure as a good friend of them, and an honour as an artist. We are talking about two of the most important tenors in the history of opera." Carreras, who bravely fought off leukaemia in 1988, spends much time and energy on the Jose Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation - meeting patients in Europe, the US, Asia or Africa. He says: "My health is very good at the moment. I am completely out of any treatment or therapy. I consider myself a very fortunate person." Does he still get nervous on stage? Without hesitation, he says: "Of course. This kind of pressure is indispensable. "Otherwise, it would be routine which is the worst thing that can happen for an artist. It helps you, with your stamina, to be strong enough to present yourself in front of an audience." His career began when aged six, Carreras saw Mario Lanza in The Great Caruso. The young Jose was so inspired he would repeatedly serenade his family with La donnae Mobile. Often, though, he'd be forced to lock himself in the bathroom when they became exasperated with his impromptu concerts. Nobody is exasperated anymore. TICKET INFO
