Hi everyone Grant, what can I say - a fantastic and very accurate report so far. A ciff hanger for those who were not present for sure i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif You are doing such a great job, I will wait until after part three before making my comments Thanks also Caite for such a lovely description of Hayley's dress, us guys would have had a job with that ! You've done us proud One thing that you didnt mention Grant if I may - whilst Hayley was telling the audience about her travels lately, she made a general reference to her American audiences and then, much to our surprise said " we have an American in tonights audience", she had spotted our very own Caite sitting on the front row and casually said "Hi Caite" - wow Caite, that was fantastic for you Best wishes Mark Edit - I just wanted to publicly say what a real pleasure it was to meet Caite in person at long last. It was also a pleasure to meet M. J and David for the first time. Heres to many more

Whoa, kudos to Hayley for being able to pick her out of the crowd and kudos to Caite for being devoted enough for Hayley to recognize her without prompting!

In my earlier post, I indicated that one of our members from would have a special story to tell. I have now been asked by that member to tell the story myself and, believe me, it is a real privilege to do so. Hayley had just finished singing 'May It Be' when she informed the audience that it was "from Lord of the Rings which was filmed in New Zealand, in case anyone doesn't know"! Well, could there be a Hayley fan anywhere in the world who is unaware of that? The audience laughed and Hayley realised that she had not needed to say it. To cover any slight embarrassment that she may have felt, she offered the excuse that she had been in America for several weeks. "The Americans are only just catching on", she said. "In fact, some of them don't even know where New Zealand is!" Suddenly, she realised she was digging an even bigger hole for herself because she remembered who was sitting in the audience just a few feet in front of her... "Actually, there is an American in the audience," she said, "Hi Caitlin!"I have known Hayley make a dedication to two of our members in the past (on separate occasions), but I have never known her acknowledge their presense and speak to them like that. I can only imagine how Caite felt at the moment but she has promised to describe it later. I turned towards her and felt really proud to know her. It was one of those special moments that I will never forget and I'm sure Caite won't either. Caite, over to you. Roger PS. I see Mark has beaten me to it.

This is a fabulous story....I feel so proud for Caite!! Thanks for sharing Roger. From what you say, it certainly looks like most of the audience was already aware of Hayley's previous work. No *newbies* then ?

I suppose I'll stop in and do my part before the photos are posted Okay, so here goes the ensemble description for everyone. Hayley was found styling the classic slinky black number every girl should own. While this was a classic black dress it was very unique and elegant coming to mid-knee. It was gathered (the material was all brought together, or bunched in simpler terms) in the front at the top in the middle and the extra material made for a nice design on the front of the dress. The straps started about an inch thick and became wide enough to cover her shoulders and stayed that width until they met with the back of the dress. Her shoes were classic black two-inch (or so) stilettos, but also with a unique twist. The material crossed in an X over her toes which gave the shoes a little more spunk than the regular black stiletto. To bring the ensemble together she wore a simple black beaded bracelet and chandalier earrings (also of black beads). <3 Caite Hi Caite and thanks for that excellent description of the dress, there was absolutely no point in any of us "lads" who were there trying to to describe it! And it was great to meet you yesterday for the first time, I am sure we'll meet again at a future concert or two. Oh, I nearly forgot, was it this dress?... Hayley in the BBC hospitality room after the concert. Hayley posed specially for us after I explained to her that certain HWI members would expect no less than a full length photo of "the dress" but first, I had to "shoo" out of the way certain members (you know who you are!) who were hovering behind Hayley at the time! Cheers, Dave

What a great dress! Thanks for posting that Dave. Caite, that's really exciting that Hayley mentioned you in the concert! I'm sure its a moment that you'll never forget. It's too bad that the first two dates never worked out, but I'm glad that the concert finally happened and that you all had a great time! - Elizabeth

..."In fact, some of them don't even know where New Zealand is!" That's actually very modest of her, considering she put New Zealand on the map for us!

Hi All, Great... a photo! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Thanks Dave.. It was rather fun reading Caite's description of Hayley's dress before actually seeing a picture of it. It's absolutely beautiful and Hayley looks as radiant as ever! I'm really sorry I missed out on this one... Caite- Hayley's personal dedication to you was lovely. That just goes to show that everything we say about Hayley is absolutely true... She is very thoughful, observant and always remembers her supporters and makes us all feel like V.I.Ps!!! Hi Elizabeth & Andrew Many thanks both of you for your good wishes. I just wanted you to know that we were thinking of you last night and what a shame it was that you couldnt be with us again Andrew, you certainly were not forgotten, as when David was introduced to Hayley as "a good friend of Andrew" Hayley instantly replied " I see that he's decked you out with a tie then " Best wishes to you both Mark PS - Hope the exams went well Andrew
