Maybe you can claim some *claim to fame* and be given a special date to sit for your exam anyway. Enjoy! (your wishful thinking!) Love, Marianne

Hi all. I guess it is not surprising I am the first to post on this thread following the event itself but I had rather expected someone else to have pipped me to it. However, I am not interested in being first but in being LAST! The hour is 1:40a.m. the next day and I am safely home, enjoying a glass of Merlot and some cheese and biscuits. I am sorry I did not join the nonalcoholic drinks party but my circumstances are such my best choice was leaving for home. As a result I had a far better trip than anticipated, so it was the wise decision for me if not the preferred option. It was great meeting up with you all again. In particular it was great to meet Caite and the other David who prefers to be called David, so that's nice. Other than to say I had a wonderful day, that Hayley was great and it was a superb evening I do not intend to post again on this thread until everyone else has finished posting. Then, Postscript will add a postscript to everyone else's posts!" Oh boy! No, that should be simply 'wow!' Now that is a clue as to the nature of my 'closing post' yet to come. :je WOW! Postscript.

For some time, I had not expected to be able to go to this event but, at very short notice, I managed to work through some personal difficulties and found myself in Cardiff. I will leave others to fill in the details but, in case nobody else remembers (!), here are the songs that Hayley performed: Let Me Lie Shenandoah Santa Lucia One Fine Day May It Be Summer Fly Danny Boy Pokarekare Ana It was a truly memorable evening and it was great to meet up with nine other members of this forum, one of whom has a story to tell which I find truly remarkable. Hi Roger, I am pleased to hear you could go to Cardiff. Thank you for the songs list. Looks like you had a great time at the concert! I can't wait to read detailled reports. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI see Hayley mainly performed tracks from "Treasure". But although I'm not surprised about "Pokarekare Ana", "May it be" comes out as an interesting choice.

Hi Roger, Well done that man! I'm delighted to hear that you were able to make it to Cardiff yesterday after all... Hearing Hayley perfoming 'Santa Lucia' and 'Summer Fly' live would have alone "made my evening"... but it sounds like you were all well and truly spoiled- going by the set list which you provided! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWere Fiona Pears and Ian Tilley/ Al Gurr present too? I can't wait to hear more info and see some pictures! Andrew
