Hayley on the edge of her seat.. And why wouldn't she be, she hadn't met ME before ! Yes, that is me ! First of all a sincere thank you all for the very warm welcome, you have made me feel like part of the family. I must admit I felt a bit intimidated when I saw some of the numbers of posts, but I suppose we all have to start at 1. Secondly, apologies for being so slow to respond, I have been galavanting. And lastly my own couple of snaps. In the first, the very sharp eyed amongst you will probably see yourselves. And the extremely sharp-eyed may even spot the phantom YouTube videographer Jackduckworth. And the second was taken by a member of the NCH staff

Hi Gerard and many thanks for sharing some terrific photgraphs with us. I understand what you mean about feeling intimidated but there is no need. We are all friends and we are all here to support Hayley. It doesn't matter if it is your first post or your thousandth, you are equally welcome.

I'm sure you will have a lot of fun sharing Hayley with her special family here at HWI.

Thank you for your pictures Gerard. I found the one showing the hall very interesting. In outline design with organ it is very reminiscent of Huddersfield Town Hall. Peter S.

I just checked the times on these photos and they spread from 22:33 right through to 22:35, you were there for ages, no wonder I have so many photos of you comet Uh oh, and that did NOT include getting my picture taken with Hayley (three times, for insurance)! I was not even aware of being photographed either. We had better keep that between ourselves or I will be lynched the next time I appear after a Hayley concert. Was this Hayley's first public appearance in Ireland? When I was speaking to her she did say she had been over for a couple of days to record the album at Windmill Lane, but I gathered she had not made any public appearance on that occasion. And now I must go to the right place to introduce myself !

Hi Gerard,
No, this was not Hayley's first appearance in Dublin. She was there on 24th and 26th March 2006 when she was supporting Il Divo at The Point.
She also appeared as part of Celtic Woman during the filming of their DVD entitled "A New Journey" which was recorded last August in the grounds of Slane Castle.
She has also appeared in Belfast if that counts!

Now we know what to do when others have fun in Chichester Edit : woops, I just noticed that Gerard already posted the info on the following thread : Dublin Concert on RTE Radio 1. Sorry - next time I'll check before posting
