The thing about digital cameras is they take the picture a moment or more AFTER you press the button, so you get pictures like this instead of the picture you intended. I do miss my old Fujica STX 1 N REAL film SLR camera, It took the pictures I wanted instead of the " What Happened Next ? " type of pictures you see here.. And we call that progress........I'm not so sure But I have learned some new things over the past few days sorting through these pictures.... Turning the pages of old photographs I whisper thanks to each and every one Deep in my heart you have come, come to Live sure as the sun to see me through Come rain or shine however the day may be You shelter me with your smile However far your memories may fade Traces of you I hope to find Then you appear and I drown in my own tears I wish on a star, the first star of night You'll find me here every evening of the year As twilight approaches I look to the sky searching for you with all of my heart.. Hi folks. I suppose I should have mentioned the RTE Concert Orchestra were absolutely wonderful. I was so busy watching and listening to Hayley that I did not concentrate on the Orchestra until they were playing Binge's Elizabethan Serenade while Hayley was offstage. But you will be able to hear this soon enough after it is transmitted by RTE Radio one. { RTE = Radio Telefis Eireann } It will be available to replay on RTEs website. (I Think)
Hope you have all enjoyed the pictures and commentary. Don't forget "Jack Duckworth" has posted some wonderful video on YouTube.

Thank you, Comet for the stunning photos. What a great time you had! I hope she comes back to Ireland soon so that you don't have to wait too long for another concert.

Hi Comet, Thanks for the beautiful photos. Makes up for my own camera giving up on me. I really enjoyed your original poetic descriptions of the concert, especially of Hayley's singing and her dresses. How about composing your own poem about the event? Perhaps 'Hayley's Lullaby to the Small Animals' that you mentioned. 'Could start a thread, "Suggest a Name for Comet's Poem". Welcome to Gerard. Seems you were just behind us (my wife, my daughter and I) at the concert! We were in K15, 16 and 17. Pity we didn't get to say 'Hello'. Thanks to Dori for letting us know about the wonderful Hayley clips of the NCH concert. They really capture the mesmerising Hayley aura we encountered on the night. There are about 200 more Hayley clips on 'YouTube'. They can be found easily and downloaded and played with 'Ashampoo ClipFinder', available free on www.ashampoo.com/frontend/products/php/product.php?session_langid=2&idstring=0055Makes me wish for my next Hayley concert so that I can capture some treasures myself. Maybe the 'small animals' (lovely image- reminds me of 'Under the Sea') will show themselves ..... Best Regards to All! Paddy
