I have begun several new threads this evening for events in which Hayley will be appearing. There are a few more but the details are very sparse. For now, I will merely list them here. 9th June - Jersey 13th June - RTE Orchestra, Dublin 9th July - Chichester Festival We are also hopeful of a possible return visit to Hampton Court in June. Further details will be posted as soon as they are available, and I am told there could be a lot more to come!!!! Roger

Roger Thanks for this great update on Hayley's appearances this summer - so far that's 8 in 6 weeks with more to come I suspect. This will require very careful planning! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI have to keep pinching myself to realize how lucky we are here in England to have this privilege and I'm sure our friends in NZ, Australia , USA and Europe are green with envy. However, how better media than this Forum to bring to them reports and photos from these events. It has often intrigued me lately why Hayley doesn't embark upon a UK/Ireland set tour along the same lines as the likes of Katherine Jenkins and Russel Watson have done recently. It would be interesting to hear the views from other HWI members on this point. Best wishes Martin

Hi Martin
I wasn't aware of what Russell Watson & Katherine Jenkins have done, but I would have thought that a tour of Ireland for Hayley would be a natural next step, given the Irish flavour of Treasure. It is also very quick to hop across to Ireland for the odd performance and I would have thought it could easily be combined with her mainland commitments.
Regards Mark

Thanks for the update Roger.
This is starting to look like a very exciting year. Though I have to say I'm a little worried by Belinda's comment that she doesn't think September is "going to happen"
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, Oh sorry to make that comment and scare you. Was only my personal opinion (Feeling) No facts to back it up I guess I'm a little worried on hearing no news. To me no news is not good news, But chance for change We will hear eventually when it's all sorted . Belinda

Thanks for that warning Belinda. As someone else has commented (I think it was Grant) nothing is yet coming out about dates on the NZ tour. For me, the key is the principle, even if dates change, as I can adapt my arrival and departure. I have the itinerary my friends are following which will be of interest to follow through on the web.
I also understand from them that in fact a lot of travel is very easy by bus and train. I love train journeys--so does Grant. May be a stay in CHCH as a base camp and then flexibility for train and bus jaunts. Then another centre at Wellington to take in the inter-island ferry and North Island. But, I am wittering. Still early days--but, oh gosh, January has already departed and we are halfway through February!

Depends upon what happens (or doesn't!) in NZ this year. But ignoring that, I have been meaning to visit Ireland for some time and might drive over for a few days (environmental reasons!) as well as touring but a flight over certainly would be easy for a weekend, perhaps Dublin for 4 days by plane.
