Even though I've been to about five Hayley events I've never heard her sing even one of my favorite songs. It's like she looked over my list of faves and decided these are the songs not to sing. Okay, so here's my wish list:
1. Dark Waltz -- this song is the bomb. She could rule the world if she sang this in concert!
2. Wuthering Heights -- okay, so she performed it in the UK and on TV, but never in the States. Not fair.
3. Dido's Lament -- such a beautiful song... a shame not to be part of her act.
4. Love Changes Everything -- a total showstopper! Let's hear her perform it on stage.
5. Heaven -- this song was meant to be done live. Why not?
That's my list. Anyone else?

Gosh, Steve. That's a tough question. I loved the songs she did with Celtic Woman, though I've never seen her perform solo! So, my answer would have to be...just about anything!! Not much help, I know. Eric I would say "Who Painted the Moon Black?" and "May It Be" and "Never Saw Blue" and "Danny Boy" (she owns on this song!!). Those are the favorites I'm willing to "settle" on, for now.

Sonny + Mummer's Dance => Stephany goes directly to Heaven Haha Stephany...I love the way you put that. What comes straight into my head is that beautiful little Italian song Romanza that she sang solo in 2002. If I get to meet her in Sydney (still very if) I'll ask her to sing that to me a capella. Then they can carry me away.... Graeme

Graeme Oooh, Graeme, you know I was about to open a thread because I didn't know the title of this song. I had the answer yesterday thanks to a lovely couple It is absolutely, absolutely gorgeous - I should add it on my "Songs I wish Hayley would perform live". i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I would love to hear Hayley sing live "Across the Universe of Time", accompanied by her sister Sophie on the high harmony....this would send me clear across the universe!

Hello Gene! If you buy Hayley's DVD 'Live from New Zealand', you will see exactly the performance you have in mind, recorded when Hayley was seventeen and Sophie fourteen. I also saw this duet at the London Palladium a few months before the DVD was filmed. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard
