Maybe Hayley is going to smash some watermelons on stage and she doesn't want them flying all over the audience. I'm curious, and perhaps this isn't the right place to ask, but where do you all obtain the sweatshirts mentioned in this thread?

Hi Roger & Drew I booked the row behind the front row, which spookily enough IS now the front row. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif It was slightly odd when I booked as the box office person I spoke to sort of recommended that I don't book the front row See you next Saturday Mark.

i Mark,
That is really odd. May I ask how long ago you booked it?

...where do you all obtain the sweatshirts mentioned in this thread? Ho toronado, When HWI was run by its previous owner, we had a supplier in the UK who produced the sweatshirts to our specifications. We are currently looking at the possibility of obtaining a new supplier and a redesigned logo. All will be revealed if we can finalise the details. Roger

Hi Roger
I booked the tickets for Cadogan (24/2) on the 27th January - if that helps.
Regards Mark.

Hi Mark, Well, it doesn't exactly help; it merely compounds the mystery. If they knew as long ago as 27th Jan that the first row must be empty, why are they only contacting those who had booked it this week? It will be interesting to see who, if anyone, its sitting in OUR seats! Roger

I know what it is. We are all involved in the rehearsals for the big occasion when we get to play musical chairs! Roger

Very interesting! Almost wish I was going to this one now.
As someone who regularly works in my local theatre as a volunteer, the reason can probably be summed up in two words "Royal Presence" but you'll just have to wait and see!

Hi Grant, Somehow I doubt that royalty would be given the front row of the stalls. You never know who's been sitting there! Roger

Hi Roger, Perhaps a little bizarre, but I wonder whether some performers have expressed a preference for the front row to be left vacant for the sake of maintaining personal space? The front row of the stalls is certainly very close to the front of the stage! If this were indeed the case Cadogan Hall would lose a considerable amount of revenue... Hmm I don't really know but I guess you'll soon find out! Andrew

We might find out, Andrew, and we might not. If we do, it is probably not likely to be before the event. Roger

Well, my interest is certainly piqued, don't forget to tell those of us that can't be there how it turned out afterward!

As we still have the tickets for the front row - if we flog 'em on eBay - the ensuing rumpus would be really interesting - and we'd have the "front row " seats of the resulting altercation!!!!!
