Dave, (glad someone knows whats happening !) Many thanks I think I am now up and running! I heard the complete concert while on the forum earlier from Graeme's download . I downloaded yours while Match of the Day was on; well to be exact I started it before expecting it to finish during; however after a false start of 32 secs The second try I think was a success of 8 min 23 sec. I have not tried it yet and as it is nearly midnight it will have to wait until tomorrow . Your download used 69 MB and Graeme's 480 MB Will let you know tomorrow all is OK when I have hopefully seen it. Thank You , Graham

only 31 minutes??? Are you sure that's the whole thing?? Hi Northern Lights. There are 3 substantial orchestral pieces on that same Concert. Dave has chopped them out & Hayleyfied the Concert to allow himself room to reduce the filesize and not lose any Hayley. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifGraeme PS : Just played the larger file on VLC player, ACD v6 viewer & Windows media player......all perfect. (full screen is acceptable) Better with original zoom.....1x

Hi to everybody who has contributed to this "Concert in the Square - Wisconsin" thread! I particularly love 'River of Dreams'... Beautiful and she's wearing one of my favourite of her dresses too! How wonderful to have those video clips! Fantastic... In two words... "Quintessential Hayley" Andrew

Hi again Dave, This recent 'find' and the possible uploads/downloads from this thread have posed a question. In a few weeks time this thread will probably be hidden away and with it not a 'current topic,' new members might not find it ! I have (like others ) only joined about a month ago. Are there other gems locked away in threads we don't know about ? Any more Hayley concerts hidden away just awaiting a download Thanks Graham

Hello Graham and everybody! We only hide threads away in exceptional circumstances. The important thing to remember when clicking on any board is that the Index (or thread list) may run to several pages. Richard

I think what he means is that they get hidden on the next page- and then the next and so on.

Hello Northern Lights! That's basically what I mean. Each page of the Index shows twenty threads, so the first page will show the threads with the most recent activity, plus any important threads that have been stickied at the top. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Richard, as someone once said ' nothing is hidden if you know where to look and what you are looking for ! ' I had not realised until now that sub boards, have pages. as well as threads ! It is a big learning curve and a huge site! Hence, things you know where to look are 'hidden for newcomers' Thanks for your patience as I 'stumble around' the site.
Thanks and Best Wishes, Graham

Hi Richard, as someone once said ' nothing is hidden if you know where to look and what you are looking for ! ' Hi Graham, You are so right! However, if you know what you are looking for, things are fairly easy, you can use the Search facility (practice makes perfect with that! ) If you don't know what you are looking for, things aren't so easy! Cheers, Dave

Here you go... The Introduction, Hayley's entire contribution to the show and the ending. It's a Windows Media Video file at the same frame size but a much lower bitrate then the original - though I did chop out the black borders at the side and some of the VHS interference at the bottom so... 352 x 236. I also cut out all the non-Hayley music and increased the contrast a bit. So it's at a 300 kbps bitrate, much lower than I usually do to keep the file down to a manageable size for hopefully everyone. Concert in the Park 2004 - Hayley in Wisconsin (31 minutes, 300 kbps, 69 MB) You can probably get away with playing this video at double size, it's just about good enough for that and some of you might even risk it in full screen though that's arguable! I may do higher quality individual videos of each song later... in the meantime you have Tasslehof's YouTube videos to look at Cheers, Dave Hi Howard, re Concert in the Square. Found Dave's original post with download instructions. Hope it is still working and you manage to download to your desktop ! Graham p.s different Square to your 2001 request, but you probably haven't seen this as well.

Hi everyone, As all but one of the videos of this concert previously on Youtube seem to have disappeared, I have uploaded all 8 songs involving Hayley to hwivid, and have made a playlist to watch them in. Concerts On The Square 2004 - Hayley Westenra in Madison Wisconsin - Youtube PlaylistMembers who have not seen these videos before, please don't expect the kind of quality you get from modern videos, things were a lot more basic back then and this one was originally from a VHS tape then captured by Jason at a small size of 360 x 240, and then I had to crop out the VHS interference lines at the bottom (anyone remember them? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ). Given all that, it's a fabulous part of Hayley history. Cheers, Dave
