Hi George, What a fantastical report and fantabulous photos...I wonder who I sound like now ?... Hayley certainly enjoys her own concerts, and loves to meet and greet her fans !! I love the photo of the guy (official) having to hold Drew's rose while Hayley signs...haha.
Drew, wonderously great report and photos from you as well !!
Love, Marianne

George, Stuart, Steve, Drew, Thanks for posting the reports and pix, it looks like a great time was had by all. I'm glad Hayley and CW are going their separate ways for now. The CW show is very good, and worth attending without Hayley's participation, however I would prefer just Hayley any time........TimJ

Hi Mark Hi Stuart, Steve & Drew Thanks Drew for your report and thanks to Stuart & Steve once again for the lovely photos. I'm not surprised Hayley mentioned the Dark & Blacks episode from the previous night at Porthcawl as I had printed out Greame's version of the packaging to take with me to show her, saying "the ideal gift for Hayley Westenra" She really thought that was funny. Of course, I had already given her a bar of her favourite and she was having fish & chips after the concert . Not perhaps her usual diet i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest regards Mark Well Done, Mark!! You beat me by one day. I too took some photos of the choc bars and also two photos of Hayley at Telford, one with the normal bar and one with the new slogan on. I intended to question her as to what she thought was going on but my first question shattered my plan. "Hayley, have you heard or read about the choc bars?" -- Hayley replied "Yes, George, Mark brought some photos last night" Oh Well, Hayley still found it funny again. George

Hello George, Drew, Steve and Stuart! Thanks again for all the wonderful reports and photographs. There's no doubt whatsoever that Hayley is thoroughly enjoying performing her own concerts with Fiona and Ian again, so I'm really looking forward to her show in Shepherds Bush now. I'm also dying to know if she liked the Green & Black's Mint chocolate, because I want to try it too. I suppose I don't have to wait for a report from Hayley! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

I'm glad you have picked up why I suggested Dutch Joyce gave her 'Tulips from Amsterdam'. [Albeit after the event as Richard pointed out!]
I think whose suggestion it was to give her chocolate (which I think was Grant initially) is fine as an individual. The problem is that others have rather jumped on the bandwaggon and it is important to be fair to the girl. Were she to be asked directly--and I am NOT suggesting anyone should as it would embarrass her--'chocolate or a contribution to your charity?' she would respond 'my charity, please.'
At the same time, the last thing we want is to suddenly stop giving her things. I am sure she loves receiving little tokens and perhaps a one-off of an exotic flower--especially a stem of a Hayley Westenra rose!--would always be appreciated.
One bar of chocolate I am sure is fine and I think we ought to respect that is Grant's 'thing' but one bar from ten people... were that to happen.
Countering my own argument--I really should have read law at an earlier stage in my life!--she is probably only greeted like this by so many in the UK, so over the year, provided she keeps her chocolate rather than gobbling it at the time--and is keeping it realistic with all her travelling and still be in prime condition?--we won't do her much harm.
However, those dresses of hers are well fitted and there does not seem much allowance for 'letting out' were such an option cost-effective compared with starting with a new dress from scratch.
I'm sure Grant will handle it effectively and having been fore-warned here of the question arising, she is primed to give the answer she wants in the diplomatic way she has.

...especially a stem of a Hayley Westenra rose!--would always be appreciated. Wot, no flower? Just the stem, you mean? Okay, that would be different, I suppose! In a rare moment of seriousness (it won't last!), Peter is quite right. We must be careful not to overdo this chocolate thing. Even token gifts in general should only be given very occasionally and not become the norm, and certainly not by the same person every time. I know Hayley will always show her appreciation but I have, in the past, been advised that it can become a little too much. Roger

Roger I take your point Roger, and I guess I'm the guilty one here, but what if Hayley does look forward to receiving our little gifts? I recall at Telford recently, when I accidentally held the little bag holding the 'you know what' in a way that Hayley thought it was being offered, she was very willing to take it, but I wasn't ready to give it just then. It was quite funny really 'cos I'm sure she knew what the bag contained! Guess I'd also feel a bit guilty if I didn't have something to give her Best wishes Grant

Grant wrote -Hi Grant, actually, I think the "security chap" you are referring to is Ray, known as Hayley's road manager and driver. Admittedly, he does look a little unfriendly in those shots, however, I had a chat with him whilst waiting for Hayley to finish signing at Porthcawl and he struck me as a really nice chap. He was only too happy to take pics of people with Hayley, in fact it was he that took those lovely shots of Hayley and me Best regards Mark

Thanks Drew, George, Stuart and Steve for the reports and photos from Hayley's performance at Grassington. Very thoughtful to present Hayley with that lovely Rose, Drew. I'm sure Hayley was nibbling her chocolate bar on the way home!
