Simba, the fish is plaice, which is pronounced the same as place. So it was a pun.

Isn't the person who wrote the music to You Raise Me Up Norwegian? The guy from Secret Garden?

Ugh. I wish the Japanese albums weren't so expensive. I waited years to get the HSJS albums for that reason. I really want this version now. And I also hope that the US iTunes will have the deluxe edition, but I'll just have to wait and see.

I've listened to the album, and I have to say, I LOVE it! Hayley's voice is just stunning and so intimate, just as promised. I held myself back from listening to the samples, and I'm so glad I did! Some of the songs were completely new to me, so hearing them in full for the first time was a real treat! Early favorites for me are Go to Sleep, Goodnight my Angel, and Baby Mine. But I really like all of them. Twinkle Twinkle is my least favorite actually, but the arrangement is refreshing. To those who think they don't want the album because it's lullabies, I say, RECONSIDER! It's wonderful!

I did the same for Paradiso, Libby! But in other news, my copy of Hushabye arrived today I haven't had a chance to listen yet though.

This is off topic, I know, but speaking of Let Me Lie, I played it for a 16-month-old I was babysitting and he fell asleep by the time the song was over, soo that one, I agree with Libby, is definitely soothing.

I've just ordered the UK edition of Hushabye from uk amazon. I decided i didn't want to wait until the end of August for it and i didn't get it as a birthday present although my whole family knew i wanted it. I'm going to be giving away copies of it to families I babysit, so it's not like I won't be buying the us edition several times over. I spent $18.36 USD

Someone ought to head over to Amazon.co.uk and give this CD a lovely review. So far it has one review with 2 stars and another with 3 stars...which doesn't look very good for business.

Why do I have to wait until August 27? I may have to import the UK edition. I don't think I'm that patient. I do like that article. It's not as generic as others that I've seen.

Or maybe they have inside information and know that the baby is due sooner than everyone thinks. I don't understand why the US and Canada don't have release dates yet...

I quite like the acoustic version of the new single, and it's available in iTunes and on Amazon
