Thank you so much Tim and Gerrit, what a wonder performance of I Say Grace!! Dare me say Hayley is even better singing live than recording in the studio. Thanks again, this is definitely a good song to wake up to Allen

While checking the Andrea Bocelli TV schedule at www.bocelli.de/en/schedule.htm, I noticed an entry about some "iceshow" taped last October. Is it the Gotta Skate V special? May be someone from netherland can confirm that Allen

Hi Joe and Dave, Good news that the show is on Bravo. The demographics of Bravo should appreciate Hayley and Andrea! Their albums should go up in the classical chart next week i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDave, you're right, the show will be shown on CBC (Canada) in March. Now, I'm going to join Dave to put the video on repeat Allen

I am planning a downloads page for Andrea, so if you have the clips, I wouldn't mind receiving them . Sure, I still have the avi files on my HD. The a/v quality for couple of Andrea performances isn't that good since I was recording from analog for first 1/4 of the show and there was lots of interference. The rest of the show was recorded from digital cable so the signal was much cleaner. I'm still trying to fix the problem with different video filters. Will let you know how things go I have some Andrea Bocelli music videos and live performances recorded over the years, if you are interested, I can send them to you as well. Have about 20 or so and will have couple more from Nobel Peace Prize 2004 later in the month. Allen

Was it broadcast throughout the US *and* Canada? Hi Dave, Even though the show was in Toronto, it was only broadcasted on NBC, an US station. However, most of us in Canada with cable or satellite do get the channel. According to the press release, it should be on CBC (think of it as Canadian version of BBC) sometime in March 2006. Allen

Hi Joe,
I noticed the 2 Odyssey commercials too, very well put together and perfect marketing by associating the album to Andrea Bocelli.
The Vivo Pei Lei performance is so good, I probably watched it at least 30 times today. If anyone is looking for other Andrea Bocelli performances from the tv special, I can post them as well. He did "Can't Help Falling In Love", "It's Impossible", "Te Extrano" and "Voglio Restare Cosi".
BTW, the videos are uploaded and the links have been msg'ed to Gerrit. So they should be available soon.

Finished watching the show couple of hours earlier. Amazing performance by both Hayley and Andrea Bocelli... and the skaters of course. If I'm not mistakened, this the first english version of the duet Vivo Per Lei. So far I only heard of versions in Italian, French and Portugese. Would be great if Hayley releases it in her next album or even better in Andrea's album to be released early next year. Hayley also performed "Both Sides Now" and "Time to Say Goodbye".
Andrea Bocelli sang "Te Extrano" from his new album, it sounded great. Think the album will be another hit.
I'm in the process of editing and encoding right now. Will upload them and msg Gerrit or Dave with the links later tonight.

Hi all, Bravo Canada will be showing the "Women of Music" documentary series again, starting next Monday (April 17). Hayley was featured in episode 8 and the episode is expected to be broadcasted in early June. Since the show is on right after an opera "educational" programme called Opera Easy, we should expect good exposure for Hayley Allen

Didn't know Hayley did Pie Jesu at the Russell Watson concert as well. Too bad that and Romanza weren't included on the DVD.
Thanks for the videos Gerrit!

I think the song is from one of Andrea Bocelli's albums. Have to dig up the cds and find out A bit off topic, but I just noticed the local library actually got Hayley's Pure album and people are checking it out. There're only a handful of classical-pop albums (Sarah Brightman, Sarah Brightman and Charlotte Church) so that really shows Hayley is getting more popular in Canada! edit: Not 100% sure, the song is most likely "Romanza" from the album with the same name. Richard is very close with "La Luna Che Non C'e", which is the next track on the album Allen

Hi portia and Richard,
Sorry, I forgot to mention you have to use programs like WinRAR or similar programs (I use IZArc myself) to decompress it. Rar is similar to Zip but it can create multi-part archives.
