Yes, I think Hayley's next album is a bit like Mount Rainier. We keep seeing signs that it might happen, but it never does!

So what wildly unlikely happening will we experience in 2021 (I think 2020 is a write off). Plague of locusts, massive volcanic eruptions, asteroid striking the earth, new Hayley album? Only time will tell.

It would be very convenient if Proboards had image hosting within it's own control or hosting system. Yes, couldn't agree more. I am fed up with having to move to different hosting sites every time the one I'm using changes its policy and starts charging. These days I mostly use Facebook or email if I want to include images. I think it is possible to embed Facebook images on Proboards, but I've never tried it.

Hi Comet,
I have been busy on my (similar) photo project for over 5 years now. I am nearing the end though. This involves scanning negatives, slides and prints, and trying to catalogue them along with the more recent electronic images of variable quality. Some of mine go back 100 years or more. Problem is that there are a sizable group that I cannot place as I have no idea when or where they were taken. Sometimes it is hard even to identify the decade. But I'm still trying!

I understand the reason for the banter, but the reason is depressing. The banter has just gotten to be pointless and tiresome. Everything was already so slow and quiet in regards to Hayley, and now it's ten times worse. I'm afraid everything has just gotten to me a bit too much lately. I've even considered deactivating my Facebook for a while, but I decided it would just make me feel worse. I never played games on my phone before, but since the quarantine started, I've downloaded 4 (well, 5, if you include the one I ended up deleting. LOL). Although I've always been a home-body, and am quite content to relax at home, it's just getting old. I have barely anything to do all day, and no prospects whatsoever for the forseeable future, and I can't even try to find something new, so I'm feeling quite useless lately. I feel like a nobody these days, and it's not a nice feeling to have. Libby, in this time of lockdown we need to keep in touch with friends and family more than ever. Even if you are fairly self-contained, we need to support and keep in touch with other people. For one thing so that we all know that you are OK; there is a very dangerous virus around remember. We wouldn't want you or anyone else to disappear without trace as our friend Richard did. Perhaps a new interest that you can pursue while locked down would help. I have taken an interest in birds recently, which I can watch and listen to on my local parks and in the garden, but there are other things too - books to read, music to listen to. Or how about documenting your life in pictures and writing, or perhaps Hayley's life? Yes, I know it it tough living on your own right now, but it won't be for ever.

Libby is fine and still posting on Facebook. I suspect that she comes here less often when there is hardly ever any Hayley news to report.

Very sad to hear this, Peter was a good friend. I met him quite a few times at varous concert, and I remember on one occasion, when we had a few hours to kill before the concert, embarking on a tour of Bournemouth with him. I no bouby have some pictures of him somewhere - I will have to look them out.
RIP

Yes, it shows how starved we are when we get excited about a video of some people pottering about in the garden becuae it has Hayley's voice on it. I suppose it proves that Hayley still has a voice, altough I think I can hear a bit of an American accent now.

I agree she sings it very powerfully (emotionally powerful I mean).
I will never forget her performance of that song at Nottingham on her aborted Battle of Britain tour. It came after we had heard a harrowing account of the horrors of war. It moved many in the audience to tears.

Well, you know where that comes from, it is an old joke.
a: "We have to hurry to the sales. If you don't you can miss the bargains". b: "Yes I know. All the way there I was saying to myself, "must get here, must get here, must get here"". a: "What's that?" b: "The three musketeers".
Sorry!

Thanks both! We had a family party and 2 year old Bella said "yes" (to much laughter) when I asked her if she liked whisky (one of my presents). I think she preferred the chocolate though.

New story from Chris of him playing music. Didn’t have sound on so don’t know what it sounds like, or if there is any sound. Update: his last 2 stories reveal that today is his birthday. 🙂🎉🎁 He must be all right then, all the best people have birthdays in November (except Hayley of course). And by the way today is mine!
