In case anyone is wondering, I spent a most enjoyable night in Gatwick airport with Andrew while he awaited his flight back to Edniburgh. It seems there is now a local shortage of cappuccino! Roger Hi Roger... Are you still awake? Would you like another cappuccino and a chicken sandwich? Andrew i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Thanks to everyone for the lovely pictures! Certainly better than a lot of the professional ones.
No I'm not too embarrassed to find my face in the group pics! Luckily Hayley appears to be the centre of attention. Are you going to give her a copy of the pictures? It was great to meet everyone and Hayley seemed very pleased with all the support.
Thanks Steve for the pic you took of me and Hayley - will e-mail you shortly.

Hi Katie, We have occasionally given Hayley some photographs that members of the team have taken but, with her mother being a professional photographer, she has probably seen enough! As she is a member if this forum, she is more than welcome to help herself - we don't charge much! Roger

There are so many pictures here I haven't been able to keep up! I will get caught up eventually. I thought I'd share with you the poem/lyric spoof I wrote for all the Cadogan Hall goers (who may or may not have seen this). Enjoy!
Today we took out seats, in the hall. We talked and chattered and waited to see Hayley up on the stage Excited thoughts, we said aloud. We watched the faces in the crowd Until the lights were dimmed too low Were we ever any more excited? It’s hard to say.
I never saw a crowd like that before Across the pond, around the world Hayley’s sung all that and more No one else has ever said ‘Oh wow! To see the crowd the way I see it now, Oh I never saw a crowd like that!
‘I can’t believe among the crowd I was seeing all my forum friends, all my newest fans, and heard my name.’ Even now, we’re so amazed it’s like a dream It’s like a rainbow, it’s like the rain. Some things are the way they are and words just can’t explain
I never saw a crowd like that Across the pond, around the world Hayley’s sung all that and more No one else has ever said ‘Oh wow! To see the crowd the way I see it now, Oh I never saw a crowd like that!
It feels like now, it feels always, And it feels like coming home.’
I never saw a crowd like that before Across the pond, around the world Hayley’s sung all that and more No one else has ever said ‘Oh wow! To see the crowd the way I see it now, Oh I never saw a crowd like that!
Oh I never saw a crowd like that!’

Those of you who thought this concert was long should be grateful you weren't at the one broadcast on Radio3 last night. Part One: Beethoven Symphony No. 9. Part Two: Bruckner Symphony No.9. Now that one needs stamina and endurance ! I hope the orchestra got a good fee ! Personally I fell sleep. Maybe I'm still train-lagged !!

Hi Andrew Sorry I missed you on Saturday, I wasnt able to wait around after the show. It was a great concert, very enjoyable. However, like you, I also would have liked it to have ended with Hayley's Amazing Grace ! It would have been such a fitting ending dont you think ? I am planning to go to the Christmas Presence concert in Cardiff in December and this time we will be stying overnight within walking distance of the venue if possible !! Are you planning to go to that one ? Best regards Mark. Hi Mark, Yes- what a pity we didn't meet up at Cadogan Hall this time! The thought of more Hayley Christmas Concerts is truly very exciting... There's something extra special about a Hayley Concert just before Christmas I always think! I'm not sure whether or not I'll be able to attend Cardiff yet. I never say never... Watch this space though! I really look forward to an occasion soon when we can all meet up with you Mark! Great to hear that you enjoyed The Gala Concert! Regards, Andrew

Cheers, Dave Hi Caite, Thank you for sharing your beautiful poem with us. Roger had managed to print a draft off before he left for Cadogan Hall so many of us stood around Roger in a circle as Roger recited your poem to us outside Cadogan Hall before the concert. I can also remember Roger passing on a few messages to Hayley after the concert, outside. Your name was mentioned along with a few others like George & Denise too! Keep that creativity flowing Caite- most impressive! Regards, Andrew
