Many thanks to Steve and Stuart for your superb coverage, as ever. I am sure Simon will be delighted to receive anything you care to send for the main site. Er, make that sites as I know you have some super shots of All Angels as well as Hayley. Roger

Hi All, And a few more from me. We were very fortunate to have such a good seat. Digital SLRs were out of the question - too big and too noisy so it was the Sony H2 for me and H5 for Steve. Light was very good - actually it was too bright to be inconspicuous! Stuart

Hi, Great to see Hayley at Cadogan Hall again. It's certainly a good venue. All her songs sounded great.........just wish there were more of them. Being an Aled fan as well, I was a little disappointed with his replacement. Probably enough said already on that one David Garrett was also very fine during his performaces. Good to see all the HWI gang after the show during the long wait for Hayley. As always when she did appear she looked very happy to see everyone. Looks like a lot of the photos came out very well. Even I managed to get a couple of good ones of Hayley outside afterwards!! Katie

Thanks, everyone!
Thank you for all the photos and reports of the evening. It sounded a fantastic evening. Just wish I had been with you but maybe Hayley will forgive me for not being there on this occasion as we celebrated our daughters engagement that evening! Just a thought?? What is a valid reason for missing a Hayley event? Can't think of many! The photos and reports certainly make up for not being there. Thank you all again.

One more thought - Hayley reads this forum!
Hayley, don't arrange anything for 1st September 2007 or I will be torn between that and being Father of the Bride! Unless you want to sing for us?

Hi everyone! Well that was a night to remember!!! After I've already met Peter and Grant in July it was great to meet many more of you last Saturday. I hope we can repeat that on another concert. Unfortunately my English wasn't good enough to follow all conversations but it was fun and the evening was worth all the troubles on my way to England. Here are some pictures I took on Saturday evening. Ready to begin: Hayley in concert: From row C, the 7th from the front, it was a little to dark for the small lens of my camera but anyway I had to try to take some photos. And last but not least the goup photo kindly taken by Steve A.: More pictures will follow soon but first I have to find out how to remove the Red-Eye-Effect when using flash light (only outside the concert hall of course). i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThomas

Hi All, Many thanks to Steve and Stuart for posting up their fantastic photos of Hayley for us all to share! Thanks also to those of you who have posted up the concert reviews and the pre/ post concert reports- great! I really enjoyed the whole day on Saturday! What an ideal occasion it was to meet up with so many 'HWI' members in one day too! WOW! We really enjoyed one another's company and had many laughs along the way! During the evening we were treated to wide variety of musical styles with each performer giving it their very best. Tonight's Gala Concert was unique in that we heard 'All Angels' perform live for their very first time. They opened with a traditional piece, entitled: 'Steal Away to Jesus' . I felt very moved indeed whilst listening to this song. A version of this song may be heard performed by Bernice Johnson Reagon hereHayley's opening song was 'The Water is Wide' which was stunning. She also treated us to 'Lascia Ch'io Pianga' and 'Amazing Grace'. Hayley's recital of 'Lascia Ch'io Pianga' was in fact the first time I had actually heard her perform this piece live. I wasn't disappointed! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif My only real regret concerned the closing number in the concert line-up. Hayley had just performed my all time favourite of her songs - 'Amazing Grace' after which I thought "what a perfect piece to round off a wonderful evening!" Personally I would have liked the Gala Concert to have ended at that point, but as Hayley left the stage Tomotaka Okamoto returned to perform the final piece of the evening. For me one of the most memorable highlights occurred when I was presented with the opportunity of carrying one of Hayley's dresses out to her car for her. I noticed that Steve Abbott had his arms full and couldn't carry everything at once , so I offered to help- Steve hadn't picked up what looked like one of Hayley's dresses, zipped up in a black clothing protector, so I took that and carefully placed it on the back shelf of Hayley's car. I turned round and could hardly believe it when I was faced with a smiling Chloë Hanslip! I was delighted to see her. For a moment the thought crossed my mind that perhaps Steve Abbott was also Chloë's new manager, but this wasn't the case . Chloë explained that she and Hayley were great friends and that she had enjoyed watching the concert too! I shared my memories of Chloë's spectacular performance at the ClassicaLive event from March 2005 with her and then I asked her a bit about her newly released CD. She seemed to be very pleased with the success of the CD so far. No doubt Chloë's imminent performance at Cadogan Hall on October 19th will also help her to promote her new CD further. BTW, earlier I created a thread for Chloë Hanslip hereRegards, Andrew
