Hi Dave Thank you for an excellent post outlining the position of the top albums. I agree with almost everything that you say - almost! Because, unfortunately, I think you may be wrong about Blake. They seem very popular, particularly with the ladies and I think it may be the ladies (in general) who will be inclined to vote. I hope I am wrong, but I think they may be the 'outsiders' to surprise everyone! ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) On the other hand, I wouldn't dream of missing the opportunity of being there when Hayley wins!! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Best wishes Grant

I hope Ludovico comes to the Classical Brits 08 to perform. I'd be totally over the moon... Hi Stephany Then I sincerely hope it happens for you! ![](http://www.hayley-westenra-international.com/hwi-forum-icons/extrasmilies/wink.gif) and also because I'm dying to see you jump that high!! Taking the context of your post, Dave, she might get a sympathy vote as a reaction against Kiri's comments! There's nou't so queer as folk.

Hi All,
I will be at the Classical Brits this year - and the fact that both Hayley and All Angels are nominated is a bonus.
However, even though I am not a UK resident, and therefore won't be able to vote, my preference goes to All Angels ....
It's a pity this year Hayley is up against All Angels, and mass groups like Fron and the Dragoons ....
In my view, Hayley should have had an award for Pure a number of years ago.. Unfortunately though, when I compare Treasure with All Angel's Into Paradise, the latter album simply has a greater appeal to me.
My plans for a visit to the UK are taking shape. I will arrive in the UK on Wednesday May 7, attend the Classical Brits on May 8 and go to the O2 Arena for Katherine Jenkins and Darcey Bussell's Viva La Diva Show on May 11.
I already have booked a day trip to Oxford on Saturday May 10, to meet Zoë Mace and her parents! (I have a complimentary autographed copy of each of her 3 CDs - I am bothering the Dutch Downs' Syndrome Association regularly with news about Zoë.)
This leaves me with May 9 to fill in, as on May 12 I'll be returning to Holland.
Cheers,
Gerrit

Wow, that is some trip Gerrit. Wish you well and hope all goes as planned. You're on the way to being more wearing than Hayley!

Hey all,
I'm going to do my best to attend this also. I wasn't able to last year as I was off up north, but will definately try and make it this year!!

Hi all, I wonder if BBC America will air this. The BAFTA Awards were on last weekend and it did well in the ratings. Getting nearer! BBC America will broadcast the next closest thing...the Brit Awards from 20th February 2008... Fingers crossed for the Classical Brit Awards on American TV Joe

Hi All
I have just booked by telephone as the online system offered Block M only in the stalls.
The very helpful box office lady recommended not to sit at the far end of Block H nearest to the stage as there may well be scenery partially blocking the view. So I have just purchased Block H Row 1 Seat 22 at a cost of £46 including booking fee. Good luck everyone.

Hi Martin and everyone Thanks for the alert! I've just booked Stalls Block H Row 1 Seat 25. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) To save hunting through the thread, the box office telephone number is 020-7589-8212 - after the recorded message you have to press '2'. I only had to wait a few seconds for an answer. I was told tickets would be sent out in 7/10 days. Best wishes Grant

Hi Martin and Grant
Denise and I have Block H Row 1 Seats 23,24!! So looks like we are surrounded! I booked online but really it would have been easier to call the Box Office. I had to keep putting two tickets in my cart and page back and put two more in until I found some H Row 1 seats. I think I had thirty lots of two tickets in the cart and then had to delete the ones not required! (Definately easier to ring)
Looking forward to the gathering.
George

I was going to be in 27 but while speaking on the phone someone on the web site clicked on 27 so I am now in 28! Peter S.
