Hello everyone Knowing a few Scousers, I knew this one would be different :2fun: It was certainly an interview of contrasts which didn't start too well with Billy refering to Hayley as "Hayley West-enn-ra and by referring to James as Jack! James was actually included in this interview and we heard him several times. As Jim has already mentioned, Hayley sang "I Knew I Loved You" and said afterwards that she really loved the lyrics to this song. I thought Billy's comment was quite profound when he said that "some songs are best when just stripped bare" - a sentiment I agree with completely. He also complimented James on his playing which was certainly well deserved. Best wishes Grant

Yes, bizarre interview though! Presenter ended up interviewing Hayley's guitarist James! We learned one or two minor tidbits of information about Hayley's past too, I thought, including what she thinks of her recording of WITA! Cheers, Dave

Are you planning to upload today's interviews Dave? If not, I will do it tomorrow. Haven't heard them yet though.

Thanks, Ross! Now that I think of it, I seem to remember now that the very first article about her album, around when it was released in NZ, did say that Per Natale was one of them. I think that was the only source that ever said so. All the other ones just mention the fact that he did write new music for her, but don't bother to say which ones they are. As well as not elaborating much on which songs Hayley wrote. They rarely mention Malena, which I think is one of the best songs she's ever written. Wonderful lyrics, an exquisite song.
I don't really like having to save the interviews, because I don't want to keep them. But it's better than nothing, so I'm not complaining! Now, I just have to go delete them.

Hi Libby,
I thought you could choose to just play them from Mediafire.
My system is set up to record everything I ever play anyway. I then have to decide whether or not I want to keep it. If it is Hayley, I usually do.

No, there's no other option (for me) except to Save or Cancel. Obviously I'm going to choose Save, so I can listen to them. It is a pain to have to go delete all of them. Once I've heard them, I don't want them cluttering up my folders. I might like to keep one with I Knew I Loved You on it, but then I'd only want the song, not the interview. Oh well.

Martin D Hello Martin D, I have on my computer the Lancashire and Liverpool interviews so I will upload them, but I may just link to them in the forum for download. I'm just posting a representative sample of them (and the songs) on the website. I missed the Cheshire interview and haven't heard it yet, and the 10 pm one of course I don't know anything about yet. Thanks for your sterling work with these on Sunday. Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave,
I'm just listening to the Lancashire one (and hence recording it) also have the Liverpool one. The Cheshire one is a problem, since it doesn't seem to have an iPlayer or equivalent. So unless someone recorded it at the time, we probably haven't got it.
Sounds like you have everything I have, so I'll leave it to you. No point in duplicating effort. There is some good stuff there!
