Hello Richard and everyone Good interview! Graham Wright did say that Hayley would be appearing on Radio Derby again later in the week with Andy Potter. Andy's show is weekdays 1pm to 4pm. Best wishes Grant

Thanks Richard and Martin D and everyone, great stuff! Incidentally, you can link directly to Hayley's interviews in the BBC iPlayer by adding the start time to the iPlayer link, I have done it for the Three Counties interview as an example, the end bit ( ?t=2h39m44s ) needs to be in the exact same format and must be preceded by the / www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00jj9tw/Melting_Pot_21_08_2011/?t=2h39m44sNow I will go listen to it! Cheers, Dave

It's great that "Whispers in a Dream" has been used as the playlist track for these interviews as in my opinion it is by far the best promotional track from the album. As always the interviewers were going back to the start of Hayley's career in the questioning but I did get a sense of "re-discovering" Hayley was apparent which is particularly ironical since they all acknowledged that Hayley has been in the business for 10 years! Did anyone notice Julia Booth from Radio York calling the new album "Parody" at the end of the interview Martin

Yes, it was a lot of work. But worth doing i think. Well, who can keep up with her? Here is another one, this time form NewstalkZB in New Zealand www.mediafire.com/?kjtaot3ldfyots6What she has done today is amazing. What a wonderful artist and lady she is! Martin D

Hello folks! I'm sure all these interviews were done by telephone. I can't help wondering if Hayley was still in bed! Richard

Hello everyone, Hayley was interviewd a little later than originally indicated on BBC Radio Wales, at just after 2pm on the Roy Noble show. It isn't yet up on BBC iPlayer but you can listen to the 19 minute interview here at HWI: Hayley on BBC Radio Wales (Roy Noble)Hayley sang 'live' with acoustic guitar accompaniment the beautiful "I Knew I Loved You" so listen out for that at 10m 48s. Unfortunately, there is noticeable distortion on audio during the song and this was present both on the direct satellite broadcast, and on the live Internet stream (I recorded both). The most likely explanations are the use of a poor quality or faulty microphone for vocals, or incorrectly set up sound levels at the studio. It is very annoying, but if it isn't present on the iPlayer recording when we get it, I will replace it. But you can hear the sheer quality of Hayley's performance shining through the sound problems. Hi Richard, Did you notice, Roy Noble mentioned that Hayley is on S4C this evening at 7? She's on "Wedi 7" (After 7) and I have started a thread about it. Cheers, Dave
