Wow ! Heard this on the radio (Lyric Fm) this morning. Boy, did I keep quiet to hear who was singing it..No wonder! One of the few that I listen to (nearly) as much as Hayley. I bet you thought (for a little while) that it was it Hayley singing? You can find the duet with Bryn Terfel on Sissel's 'My Heart' album ......... Paddy

Apologies Richard,
I can understand that the link should be removed by removing the url and brackets.
was it necessary to also remove the title ?
It was the Ave Maria by Sissel and Bryn Tyrfel on YouTube
Not only is the music wonderful but the images are pretty spectacular too

Tubular Bells ll 1992 edition the metallic blue and yellow covered one.
There is a delicious taking of pleasure in sound on this album, It is not trying to be profound or anything like that, just the fun and sensual pleasure of assorted sounds..Love it..

Fleetwood Mac - These Strange Times ( Find it on YouTube for the usual reasons) Written by Mick Fleetwood and Ray Kennedy.
These strange times I think of a friend They said was a man of the world When all the time he was in a fight Between the dark and the light Yes I too, my friend, find the devil Trying to make me do things I don't want to do Now I find myself crying out God is nowhere, God is nowhere
These strange times I look in my heart And see the dark not the light And how I'm sad and wished I was in love And look to the sky and cry out God is nowhere, God is nowhere And this is hell Being caught between the dark and the light Daddy, daddy, hold on God is now here, God is now here
These strange times I too have dreams Things that make me wonder If to walk a thin line is like dying alone And I'm trying to find my way home To where God is now here and the dark is now light Yes I'm crying out, God is now here God is now here and that was hell Being caught between the dark and the light Between the dark and the light
These strange times I look in my heart And how I'm sad and wished I was in love And I look to the sky and cry out God is now here, God is now here God is now here, God is now here[ Lyrics from: www.lyricsfreak.com/f/fleetwood+mac/these+strange+times_20054458.html ] Some of the greatest wisdom and insights are given to us by singers and songwriters. Iv'e been living in the first two verses of this song for several years. And a voice kept calling me back into the light and I did not understand, I didn't believe, Couldn't believe that it could be that simple. and the voice persisted and said things about the light in many songs. and sang Amazing Grace until it drove me bonkers, Irritated me no end, Every concert........there it was again. And it was that simple. Iv'e moved into the third and fourth verses now. Now ! what will I post at 12 hours, 12 minutes, 12 seconds on the 12th day of the 12th month 2012

I have been hearing this piece of music on RTE Lyric FM quite regularly recently. I hear the start of it and I stop whatever I'm doing, I switch off anything that is making noise and I just listen and let my imagination run riot, raindrops falling in pools, quiet country scenes, take your pick. Arvo Pärt- Spiegel im SpiegelArvo Pärt- Spiegel im Spiegel The video in this is fascinating SPOT THE PEDESTRIAN. seems to be before and after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire, maybe "someone" ehum Ross should do the same in Christchurch NZ and set it to some of Hayley's music and put it up on YouTube There are quite a few versions on YouTube, sit back and relax. It really is quite beautiful and simple, I have been meaning to get a version on CD.
