Hi Richard.
Yes I think so.
When I was in there yesterday they mysteriously moved from bottom right to eye level centre. It is a shop I usually avoid but I had to take my wife there again today so had another look and they had both gone.

Hello folks! As expected, Hayley's 'Treasure' is the highest re-entry at No.3 in this week's Classic FM Chart. 'Pure' has gone up three places to No.18. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMike Oldfield's 'Music of the Spheres' is a non-mover at No.4, and Jonathan Ansell's 'Tenor at the Movies' is up two places at No.11. All Angels' first album has dropped six places to No.9, while 'Into Paradise' is also down six at No.17. Faryl Smith is a non-mover at No.26, the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards are at No.2 with 'Spirit of the Glen', and Classic FM's 'Summer Guitar' is still at No.1 for the tenth consecutive week. Hi Richard, I was passing the local HMV store today so I went in. Strange thing is they also have Treasure along with ROD and Odyssey. But here they all priced at £16. So in the last week or so I have seen all three of these on sale in both Tesco and HMV but the prices have varied by £12-14. I know Tesco can shift a large amount of CD's but I would have thought HMV would also command or be offered a good discount. £16 seems very high. I would have thought £10 to £12 to be more realistic this far in to the CD's life. By the same token £2 and £4 looks extremely low even for a special sales drive. It all seems odd to me. Any ideas Regards Jim

I have seen RoD for £3 in both Tesco and WHSmith over the past fortnight. I was in HMV yesterday and I scoffed at RoD CDs being priced at £16 - who in their right mind would buy that?

Hi guys, Dame Vera has overtaken last week's no. 1 Arctic Monkeys in the next (provisional, midweek) chart... but she is still no. 2 as another (new release, Jamie T, who dat?) has got ahead. Off topic (sorry!) I thought I'd mention that The Beatles are at no. 13 after only one day's sales (the rest have four) with their new Box Set... it costs £170 (one hundred and seventy!). The rest of the Top 75 is going to be splattered with up to 15 other Beatles albums on Sunday but Dame Vera may hold off all of them. Dave

Hi folks Although I, like all others on this forum want to see Hayley make it to the top spot in the Classic FM top 30, I couldn't resist buying the Summer Guitar CD! Might I say, its brilliant! - 3 exclusive recordings by Craig Ogden (Australian born!). I was honoured to have been taught by Craig in an exclusive workshop when he was down on his holidays earlier this year. Again, sorry to those who are wanting to see Hayley in the top spot - I have slowed her progress down - I have helped the opposition! Cheers Ben

Hi guys, Dame Vera has overtaken last week's no. 1 Arctic Monkeys in the next (provisional, midweek) chart... but she is still no. 2 as another (new release, Jamie T, who dat?) has got ahead. Hello all UK members (especially)! Decca seem to think Dame Vera Lynn has a chance of overtaking Jamie T this weekend to become the oldest living artist anywhere in the World to have a no. 1 album! They have done a mass-emailing today and have probably done TV advertising too (though I was out this evening so I don't know). Here is part of their email: Especially in view of Hayley's recently announced charitable collaboration with Dame Vera, if anyone was even considering buying Dame Vera's album, please buy it now - Friday night or Saturday as these sales could be crucial to her chances of topping the chart. It will also benefit Hayley because of her connection with Dame Vera! This is reminiscent of what happened with Pure on the first Saturday of its release, Hayley heading for HMV in London to sell those few extra copies... I wonder if she'll do the same this Saturday for Dame Vera? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifDave
