Hello everybody! I've just seen the video on Hayley's official site, and it's absolutely wonderful. Her commentary is great, and her voice on the clips sounds better than ever. Now I'm really looking forward to the new album! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe scenes in Ireland were probably filmed in the autumn while Hayley was recording in Dublin. Here's the link again: www.hayleywestenra.comAdobe Flash Player is required to view the video. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Everyone As Oksana has just mentioned there is a full feature promotional video of Treasure lasting several minutes. It contains snippets from six tracks including Shenandoah, Danny Boy, One Fine Day (Puccini) and Abide with Me - not to be missed!. Martin For those of you who haven't seen the video yet, the other songs that are featured are Sonny and E Pari Ra. Some of the segments seem like parts of video clips, so I guess those have been made as well. Can't wait.... can't wait.....

Hi everyone
Many thanks for the links to the video. I have just watched it twice. Yes, I am also very excited about the new album. As you say Richard, Hayley's voice sounds better than ever and from what I have heard of the song selection and the way they have been recorded, I am sure this album will soon become a favorite.
I am also really looking forward to seeing her perform the new songs live, after having listened to them intently on the CD first.
Best wishes Mark

Well, I was prompted, thanks to the links here, to consider joining the official forum so we'll see how my login activation procedure works when I get my email. Too busy at the moment to follow that aspect through.

Hi Folks, a lot of the video appears to have been shot in Dublin , Ireland, The river liffey with the ship the Jeanie Johnson on it, and our famous eating and drinking area Temple Bar on the south side of the river Liffey. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee................................................. My hometown comet So that is why she was recording in Ireland for so long! Peter S.

Your last comment about the filming in Ireland being Septemberish ties in with my own earlier post when I responded to the original, saying that was obviously why she spent so much time in Ireland. We thought she had gone just to record a track for Celtic Woman..

This post has been moved from 'Treasure - UK Version'. I would be surprised if it is actually 'down', just perhaps slower with broken links? Surely they would not stop dead?!!That really would be a disaster with build up to a new CD coming out even if it is in preparation for that the make-over is being made. Would they be that daft? Or inept?

I've just watched the video on the new site and I'm totally blown away!!!!
Our Hayley just gets better and better and yes Peter, I believe she does get more beautiful each time you see her!
Interestingly, I've commented before about my not liking the song "Danny Boy" and have wondered what effect Hayley singing it would have on me. Well, just hearing a few seconds on the video clip sent shivers down my back and I think only Hayley could do that to a song I 'don't like'
I'd like to hear more of "Abide With Me" - what I heard sounds awesome!
Thank you so much Hayley, You are indeed a "Treasure"
Grant

This could be because of my current condition and I wasn't going to post but I'm very disappointed. 'Shenandoah' sounds fine, but the other songs don't evoke any magic for me. This is very upsetting for me. I wasn't expecting this, people are going to hate me for saying it, but I have to be truthful. I was really looking forward to it. I do not like the songs so far.

Hi Jon, You know what they say, don't you? Never judge a book by its cover! Hayley's "book of song" is I am sure better than its cover. Cheers, Dave

Hello Jon and everybody! I really like the six clips on Hayley's official website, particularly the Maori song 'E Pari Ra', which sounds even better than 'Pokarekare Ana' and 'Hine E Hine'. I'm sure the other nine tracks on 'Treasure' will be gems too! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

I really hope so! This has come as a shock to me. I don't know if anybody shares a similar opinion? After hearing the 'Sparkle duet' I was expecting something exciting. Its not looking good for me (everybody else seems ok with what they have heard). Irish folk songs; Kate Rusby is the only folk singer I like, Hayley seems to have put the emphasis on Ireland folk. Where's the Celtic music? Where is the mysteriously beautiful songs that we had on pure? I long for Hayley to record more songs like 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' and 'How Deep is Your Love'. Like Dave said, I haven't heard the other songs yet, but if the rest are the same and Hayley continues to focus on this type of music in the future I don't know what I'm going to do.
