Hi Denis, Thank you for that information. I heard parts of the auction from time to time during the day but I never heard Hayley's name mentioned. Had I done so, the bid may have been increased! All we need now is to encourage John of Nottingham to join this forum and tell us all about it! Roger

Roger Hi Roger If I had known also then we might have been in competition! Or even joined forces and bid together. That would have suprised Hayley when she turned up! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin

Hi Martin, Maybe you and I could make ourselves available. They could hold an auction and the highest bidder could have lunch with us. I wonder how much Hayley would bid! Roger PS. Have you got change of 50p?

Hi Roger and Martin! I receive many advertising e-mails from Classic FM but none of those contained informations about this bid. It would have been hard but possible to take part in the bid for the dinner with Hayley. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Even if I had to fly to the UK again :bat: but I know the way by now so that wouldn't have been a problem. I also knew nothing of this auction. John from Nottinghamshire will certainly get his monies worth! Makes you realise though, just how precious and valuable the time is that we get to spend with Hayley. There's no way to put a value on that!! Grant

Hi Martin, Oh well, if she doesn't want fish and chips whilst sitting on Brighton Pier on a crisp December day like this, all the more for us, eh? Avoiding us is, perhaps, understandable but going all the way to New Zealand seems a little unnecessary, don't you think? Roger

Hi Roger Smells of sheer desperation and panic to me especially if you consider that Hayley is now not going to around the UK much until at least the Spring!! If you were given the choice of being on a warm and sunny beach in Christchurch or a chilly day in Brighton then surely it's a no-brainer!! Perhaps we could make John an offer he couldn't refuse? Hand over his prize or go to an Il Divo concert! Best wishes Martin

I wonder who picks up the lunch tab, Hayley, or the hotel/restaurant chosen for the event, in return for which the gain the publicity photographs for their further promotions? Peter S.

Good Morning Peter,

Hayley is to take her guests to a New Zealand restaurant. So Belinder may be able to tell us what the menue is likely to be.
Regards .
