Hi all, Just thought I'd let you all know... Andrew and I were performing with ERCU at the National Police Memorial Service earlier today - apparently Prince Charles was originally supposed to be there, no reason given for why he wasn't though... At the event itself, we performed All People that On Earth Do Dwell, Agnus Dei from Faure's Requiem, Michael Tippett's Deep River, How Great Thou Art, The Evening Hymn Of Charles I, The Day Thou Gavest, and ending with the National Anthem. The Edinburgh Youth Choir were also there performing an interesting piece, although I have to admit to having misplaced (lost) my program somewhere and can't remember the name of it - maybe Andrew can help? An interesting and at times slightly emotional experience I would have to say. Anyway, the first public concert by the choir to my knowledge is in Edinburgh on November 4th, followed a week later by Liverpool on November 10th. Can't wait! Also, I'm hoping to do a couple of performances (I think) of "Belshazzar's Feast" with the RSNO Chorus in November, a big commitment but hopefully very satisfying at the end of the day. Best wishes David
