Well done Stuart, another great set of photos for our collection.
Can I ask where these were taken as you appeared to have unrestrained access to all the stars?
Also, despite the previous comments on Katherine's dress your last photo of her is stunning.

Thanks for your excellent photographs, Stuart! I thoroughly enjoyed the Classical Brit Awards, so I'm already looking forward to next year's show. Hopefully Hayley will be back in 2008. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hi
I thought this was the best Classical Brits I have been to despite the absence of Hayley. This is the 4th I have been to. All performances were very good, although I do not think Sting has the voice for that type of song. I thought a contra tenor is normally associated with that type of song?
It was nice to meet Roger, Richard,Dave and Gerrit.

Martin Hi Martin, No special favours this time - we had to jostle and scrap with the rest of the press to get these photos - many of the press photographers has small steps to stand on so we had to get a shot when we could. We were standing near the entrance door 6 which was where the "Brits" boards were set up. Really we should have got there at least an hour before we did if we were going to get a good position. Still the results aren't too bad under the circumstances. Stuart

With regards to competing with the professionals who had step ladders then why didn't you stand on Richard's shoulders! Martin

Many thanks to Steve and Stuart for their excellent photographs. I am not convinced that arriving even earlier would prove worthwhile as you are likely to be moved from your claimed position. The press photographers steps to which you refer were, in fact, their career ladders - not very high ones, I noticed! Roger

Stuart Yes, those aluminium steps can be very useful. I take a set with me when doing a major coverage but if you are then going into the concert hall, somewhat cumbersome, although I suppose you could always leave them in the cloak-room. But will they still be there when you come out? Peter S.

Did anyone else hear about how Katherine left the event in a huff after not winning album of the year and went to a nightclub, only to emerge 15 minutes later saying it was just "head banging music for little kids!" Yes, you wouldn't catch me in one of those places either !!

Yes, you wouldn't catch me in one of those places either !! Maybe someone should tell Katherine that it's the taking part and not the winning that's important! If true, sounds very much like this young lady is beginning to display diva tendancies. Grant
