Hayley will receive this year's "Favorite Up and Coming Artist Award" at the 12th Annual American Society of Young Musicians' Spring Benefit Concert and Awards at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on June 3.
This award is given out each year to an "artist whose unique contribution to music, either vocally or instrumentally, has brought new inspiration to the music community, which other up-and-coming artists aspire to follow." Previous winners have been Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Josh Groban and Mandy Moore.
I *knew* something had happened, Hayley's rank at Amazon was slipping down towards the 200 area but on Friday it started climbing again, and is currently up to 50. Obviously, people are reading about her new award - Amazon responds very quickly to this sort of thing Maybe this will get Pure back in the BB chart... thanks for the reminder about it, Joe.
PS for Roger - I read the reviews, too and folks, it's all true!
In case it disappears from the web, here is a copy of the text.
