Bedlam Management have confirmed that Hayley will appear in the Grove Theatre, Dunstable, Bedfordshire on Thursday 17 July 2008. GroveTheatre (tickets are not yet on sale!) Roger Boy oh boy! That's only 6 miles down the road from me! However, a difficult area for noncar-drivers. It's a 780 seater theatre with double circle. Modern. This www.grovetheatre.co.uk/content/1/12/directions.html will gives you details. Hopefully by booking time I shall be sufficiently certain of my health that if anyone was particularly keen and needed train, if they can get themselves there via Luton and local bus (time references on the above link but they won't be showing summer schedules until around May) then I can manage a lift to Luton (preferable for the expresses as it is also the Luton airport link (Thomas/Joyce?)) and don't mind a double journey if necessary though I am sure there will be at least one more car driver? Anyway, some background thoughts for you. Amazing though it may seem I have never been there having been orientated to The Abbey (249 seater stalls only) at St Albans for my active acting life otherwise London for viewing. Peter S. PS: By the by, this morning their web site overall was very slow and you might be better off downloading the seating plan pdf and then viewing it on your PC. I made a cup of tea in the time it took to open live. PPS The front three rows are double lettered:implying there is provision (not relevant here presumably) for the front three rows to be removed for an orchestra pit.

Thanks Roger! I'm hoping to go to this one, if somebody can give me a lift to Luton Station afterwards, pretty please! Richard Even if I am not having a good day (assuming I haven't by then finally thrown off my health problems) I'm sure I can manage one trip to Luton. Does that encourage you to make a 'day' trip, Grant? Free train travel, one bus fare and a meal. Seems like you will get Hayley on the cheap. Oh, there goes those shells and eggs again, not to mention the hens! Peter S. PS: For car drivers the venue is almost literally 'round the corner' from the motorway exit.

Does that encourage you to make a 'day' trip, Grant? Hi Peter I had already posted that I am up for this one before reading your post Peter. However, I think the train will be a 'non starter' as I am unlikely to be able to get a train back to Derby that late. I will almost certainly stay the night (if it's near the motorway, there should be a Travelodge or something reasonably close) but will have to see if the train remains an option. Best wishes Grant

Hello Peter and everyone Having had another think about this one, I've decided that I won't need to stay over after the concert. Although its a 90+ mile drive, it's virtually all motorway so, barring major road works, getting home should be a doddle! Best wishes Grant

It's great knowing that the Grove Theater is so close to many of you. No long trips and easy to get back home after the show. Please don't forget the pictures and reports. If you all meet before the show, the first round is on me. Gene

If you come down from Derby, jump off the M1 at J12, which will then give you a 15-20min run to the Grove Theatre. You'll also go right past my place if you do that.. ~Chris
