Hi everyone, I just remembered something else - Hayley explained how special "In Trutina" is to her. She also made a joke about the song being "scary" but I can't remember what she said exactly She also mentioned briefly the vineyard tour but again I can't remember precisely what she said. Anyone? Stephany "In Trutina" was the first song she recorded with the full orchestra in Air Studios. That's why it was so scary. I don't remember about the vineyard tour either. =/ <3 Caitlin Hi Stephany The real scary bit was the fact that George Martin was in attendance at the recording. Martin

I think it was along the lines of enjoying the Buxton water between songs because in the vineyard tour she had to wait til after the concerts to enjoy (a small amount of) the local produce. James

Thank you for your lovely pictures, Joyce! It was funny to see you ready with your camera when I got off the train - I almost felt like a celebrity "In Trutina" was the first song she recorded with the full orchestra in Air Studios. That's why it was so scary. I don't remember about the vineyard tour either. =/ <3 Caitlin Hi Stephany The real scary bit was the fact that George Martin was in attendance at the recording. Martin Oh yes, that was it! Thanks Martin I knew there was something funny about the "scary" part of In trutina besides being the first track Hayley recorded for "Pure" (I already knew the latter bit but thanks anyway Caitlin!). She also mentioned briefly the vineyard tour but again I can't remember precisely what she said. Anyone? I think it was along the lines of enjoying the Buxton water between songs because in the vineyard tour she had to wait til after the concerts to enjoy (a small amount of) the local produce. James Thanks James! Hayley did joke quite a bit about the Buxton water, didn't she? Stephany

Arriving at The Weatherspoon, for some drinks and dinner. Not a bad idea, after my breakfast at 6.00 am this morning. Grant and Elizabeth.

Steve, thank you very much for your last series of pictures. I know that you changed seats at the interval but it looks as though you were not so badly seated in the first half. The shots are wonderful! Joyce, thank you very much for your last pictures too. I'm finally looking at the camera in the one at Wheterspoons! Stephany

Thank you Joyce for the additional pictures. The size of the table we needed was already impressive - and only 1/3 of the HWI group was present! Stephany

Thanks James! Hayley did joke quite a bit about the Buxton water, didn't she? Yes - it could be the healthier alternative after show gift instead of the endless bars of chocolate! However, if you look at the pictures from Croydon last week Hayley was drinking a different make of water.

High Martin - I calculated she was signing/receiving cards/posing for photos and greeting her subjects for the best part of 75 minutes which must be close to a record. It is important to bear in mind, though, that this is not a chore for Hayley, she loves to do it and she loves meeting her fans. Hi Grant, I had not meant to imply that Hayley found meeting her fans onerous. In fact she looked as if she was having the time of her life. You could see she was delighted with all the presents and cards that you and the others gave, and was taken aback when we turned the tables by singing to HER for a change. She loved the card that Bethany gave, and it must have been awesome for Bethany too, something she will remember all her life. (Bethany, Andrew and Vicky sat next to us in row K by the way). But yes, many people have written about meeting Hayley for the first time, and although it was brief for Sue and I, it was an immense privilege. She is every bit as lovely as everyone says she is. Her music is like the above water part of an iceberg, the bit you don't normally see is every bit as beautiful. I have some questions about Hayley, some of which I could have asked four years ago when we first saw her perform (it snowed that time too). Why does Hayley sound so much better live than on record? With most artists it is the other way round. Why does Hayley always look more beautiful in the flesh than on photographs? With most people and the photographers art, it is the other way round, especially with some "supermodels".. Why do some people have difficulty believing Hayley is a real person? After the performance, someone in the row in front of us said that her singing was too beautiful to be real. I have felt the same way myself. Why is it that when Hayley sings, my brain turns to mush, I forget everything, and my eyes water? Why is it when Hayley looks me in the eye, my brain turns to mush and I forget everything? When you meet Hayley for the first time, how does she manage to make you feel as though you have known her all your life? And what's more that she puts you so at ease that you lose all control of what you say? Within less than a minute of meeting her, I was gabbling incoherently and Sue called her a "doughnut" after she had pressed some buttons on my camera to try to retrieve the picture that someone (I was so Hayleywowed I forget who. but thank you whoever it was) had just taken. and switched off the LCD screen (Sue thought she had deleted the picture). I thought for a moment that she had seen the glow from that screen while she was performing, and thought that it would have been better and less conspicuous to turn it off. But the camera police seemed to be absent. Why is it that when you are with Hayley, time passes so quickly? Is Hayley always so fired up, or is it that performances and being with her fans bring that out of her? Perhaps she comes alive when she performs, which is why she loves it so much (actually Hayley, we love it too) Am I permanently and hopelessly Hayleywowed, or will it pass? How can someone as gorgeous as Hayley exist in this imperfect world? Does Hayley get as much pleasure out of performing and meeting her fans as we do from being there? I suspect she does, God bless her. I think I am only now beginning to gain some understanding of what happened last Saturday night. As I said, I won't get over this quickly. After all, I still haven't got over seeing her four years ago. Oh, I'd better post another photo, mostly of the top of her head. Martin

Hi Martin, I understand from your last heartfelt post that we'll see you again very soon at another Hayley concert? It seems ages ago that I first met Hayley when it was in fact just a few months from now. But just because she makes you so comfortable and relaxed when you're in her company, it's like you've known her for a lifetime! Stephany

You often see people there, filling their bottles. Martin
