Hi Jeff,
Although nothing has been mentioned, I think there is a good chance of Hayley appearing at HMV. It won't necessairily be on the day you suggest but some point during that week seems the most likely. So, no promises but I remain hopeful.

I was wondering whether or not an appearance at HMV was likely. If I remember correctly, didn't last time require booking? I missed out on that because I was away whilst booking was open Grant P.S. shouldn't this be on the "Treasure" thread?

Hello Grant! We didn't have to book in advance to see Hayley at HMV last time. If we don't hear anything before, we should be able to get the full details (if applicable) at Cadogan Hall. That's got this thread back on topic the easy way! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Is that the usual format for these events? As you say let's hope we can get the details at Cadogan. Best Wishes Martin PS Will I have to bring a parrot on my shoulder? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif A word of warning. The Hayley at HMV is not the Hayley at concerts. HMV is a commercial shop and wishes to get back to 'normal' trading asap. When I was there for Odyssey it was very much the production line Hayley normally refuses but she is under shop pressure and limited time. I would be inclined to leave signing for an after-concert opportunity even if some time afterwards. As long as you remember to take the CD with you, she won't mind it's a much later occasion. It could be that at HMV for Odyssey she didn't then know me that well and others who were there may give you a different viewpoint. While we hung back and Steve was very helpful, despite having the 'flu, in trotting out All Angels, they too were under pressure to move on. I can't manage that period anyway, this time, so I might 'go for the heck of it' anyway were I able, but I'm not but I am inclined to think i wouldn't any way, unless I had a a museum visit and a theatre evening in mind afterwards. Hi Martin, As Richard has probably departed for the night, perhaps I can answer that question. Yes, that is basically the idea for HMV signing sessions and is exactly what happened when she appeared there in September 2005. Please be aware that, last time, we were limited to ONE item per person. The security guy ensured that rule was very strictly applied. He also took the CD from the customer and asked what name they would like Hayley to write on it therefore making it virtually impossible for people to say a word to her. When he asked my name, I said, "it's okay, she knows". He looked most put out! That may not always be the case so I hope, if there is an HMV promotion, that the rules might be a little more relaxed next time. Even if they aren't, Hayley may well spend a little time with us after the crowds have disbursed, as she did last time. Roger (Not starting a new thread for an event that may not even happen! ) Roger

Roger Not wanting to start a new thread either - thanks for the update. That is how I imagined it to be having attended book signings previously.
Out of interest was the Sept 2005 signing well attended?

Hi Martin,
It is not easy to tell because the ground floor (where these sessions take place) of the store is always crowded and it wasn't obvious how many of them were there specifically for Hayley. Some of those in the queue to see her may have been merely opportunists. Overall, I would say it was reasonably well attended and that many albums were sold as a result.

Hello everybody! To bring this thread back on topic (again!), there are still plenty of very good seats available for the 'Children Helping Children' concert, so here's the link to Cadogan Hall's website again:- www.cadoganhall.com/showpage.php?pid=313Martin, if you bring a parrot on your shoulder, you might get a spot in the show as a ventriloquist! 41 days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

No disrespect to you Londoners and Hemihelp, an excellent venture I'm sure, but I only mentioned HMV since I don't really want to make 2 journeys to the capital in the space of 3 or 4 days. I also feel that if it comes to a choice between the two, then a guaranteed meeting with Hayley in the afternoon is better than hanging around in the street outside the hall until 11pm (and risk missing the last train !). Last time Hayley was in the artists' bar until it closed and of course she is perfectly entitled to a drink after work like anyone else. But last time was a balmy evening in September. This time it's the end of February and sooner or later we'll get frost and ice this winter. Couple that with the chance that she'll be involved with a post-concert reception and may not have much time, if any for us, then I'll side with HMV and wait for a concert which she headlines, rather than guests.

Fair comment, Jeff. I am told there will be other occasions this year - possibly quite a few of them but I have no indication yet where or when they might be.

Hello Jeff Your decision is fully understandable and I would probably have done the same. Do note though that the second concert will be finished at 5.30pm so Hayley should appear within an hour of that time. Best Wishes Martin

Martin, I think you're getting confused with the other concert at Cadogan Hall in April "Different Voices" which does have 2 performances, albeit Hayley is only singing one song in each. I admit if I lived in London I'd go like a shot but as it is I have to be a bit selective but I do try to see Hayley at least once or twice a year. It just means I look forward to it more, it's more of a treat and an event to "Treasure!" (Pun fully intended!!)

These two posts have been moved from 'Cadogan Hall (Children Helping Children)' which I have locked. Hi all, just now I ordered my ticket for Cadogan Hall - February, 24th.
This possibility is the only one for me to attend a Hayley concert. April, 9th I'm not sure because it could be I have to work. And Telford and Grassington is difficult, because there is no airport.
Who will attend Hayley's concert on February 24th also???
Kind regards, Lothar Hi Lothar
There are a few of us attending this concert, I will be there with my wife and daughter and I know that Steve, Stuart, Roger, Drew and others (sorry if I have forgotton anyone) will also be there. I look forward to meeting you Lothar.
Best regards Mark.
