Hi Dave, Well, my flavour of HWI ( the .net flavour) has up till now been saving each video you supplied. I am waiting until the collection is complete before putting them all up at a permanent residence ... Cheers Gerrit

Hi Dave, You're doing a remarkable job there. Had I known the results would be this good, I could have stayed home on Saturday - and kept dry! Just as well I didn't know, then! Three down , two to go? Roger

Hello Dave! Thank you for the latest clip. Hayley sang "Ave Maria" brilliantly, although the wind was causing a few problems with her hair. I don't like the presenter! Bye for now, Richard

Hi All, I have just uploaded the three Manchester videos Dave created to HWI.net. They can be accessed from this page: groups.msn.com/RussellWatsonHayleyWestenra/hwmultimedia2005.msnwI have renamed the clips so they fit my naming system - for the rest they are unchanged. Dave, that will give you the opportunity to use your personal webspace for new material. Cheers, Gerrit

Thanks Gerrit, I've now ben able to complete and upload Pokarekare Ana - 4m: 42s, 400 kbps, 13.8MB. Hayley sings this very well and the only slight question mark is as usual over the quality of the original interactive feed. Four of the 'HWI crowd' are clearly visible a few seconds from the end, as Hayley is saying "Wow, look at the flags!" They are right up against the front barrier! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThis is now available from here - Gerrit's HWI.net index page. Dave

Hello Dave! There seems to be a problem with the sound on the clip of "Pokarekare Ana". Basically there isn't any from the moment Hayley appears at 01:07. I've tried it on two different computers in the Internet Café with exactly the same result. Bye for now, Richard

Hi Dave, I have just played it again to be on the safe side and the sound and image are both perfect. Except for the first 1min 4sec where there is some interference - it's called Heather Stott. Keith.

Hello again Dave! I've just returned to the Internet Café, logged in to another different computer, downloaded the file by right-clicking this time, played, and the sound went at 01:07 just as this morning! I'm also viewing on Media Player, and this time I let the clip run through to the end, and the sound never returned. I can only guess that something stops the sound from downloading on some computers but not others. I'm hoping the clip will play properly when Gerrit uploads it on his web site. Bye for now, Richard

Bye for now, Richard Hi Richard, I'll have a look at the file later this evening and re-do it if necessary.. I'm sure Gerrit will replace the original if it turns out that on Sunday, you can view the new version faultlessly but not the old one. Watch this space i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOh, only SIX days to go to the next one!!! Cheers, Dave

Hello Roger and Dave! I've just tried the video on a fourth computer with the same result. The sound always cuts off at 01:07. Now I'm going home, but I'll be back on Sunday. Bye for now, Richard

Hi Richard, It's no good, I just cannot keep this quiet any longer. The point is, at precisely 1.08, Hayley stopped singing and said, "Don't tell Richard, but......" Eh, what's that chaps? We STILL can't tell him? Oh well. Roger

Hehe cruel, Roger, Richard, I can't believe what she said, unbelievable........ dont worry you can find out next Thursday . I just download it too and it worked fine all the way through no sound loss anywhere. Did you use the 4 computers in the same internet cafe, maybe just try another cafe. Yeah I agree that Heather Scott got slightly annoying, I think she had limited vocabulary that evening. It consisted of Great, Fantastic, Super, Amazing.............. Emmett
