Thanks Guy for the stunning shots. Hayley looked great in that blue dress, if I'm not mistakened, it's the same dress she wore in the Gotta Skate special. Ladies and Gentlemen, Please be upstanding... HWI Forum member Guy (aka 'micro') has delivered another "TOP TRUMP" photograph of Hayley in Ottawa for us! I wonder how many more surprises Guy has up his sleeve??? Guy explained that this photograph was taken at the end of the Concert performance. As you can see, Hayley has just been presented with a floral bouquet. Thanks for the warm welcome. Well I got a surprise tonight. As I was getting ready to go out, I glanced over at the TV and saw Andrea Bocelli singing on some skating show and casually thought "too bad Hayley wasn't singing". A couple minutes later the announcer says something like "coming up, Andrea Bocelli & Hayley Westenra". Well that caught my attention! I didn't realize I had that much influence. She sang a couple of duets and Both Sides Now. I managed to get my VCR running in time, I'll capture some images off the tape for Andrew to post. |

Hi micro, I was watching Gotta Skate V (the show you're referring to) on CBC too. I was so excited about the show, I actually called home the moment I finished my exam so my mom wouldn't miss it. The special was aired on NBC few months ago and you can download videos from it at Gerrit's website. Too bad the version shown on CBC is the edited version (original was 2hrs) and there were several skating performances missing and a few "slips" were edited or rerecorded in the NBC version. Either way, it was a great show and Hayley must have picked up many new fans! On related news... Odyssey just went up to #28 on Amazon.ca (from #143 yesterday). Some pictures from the signing session in Ottawa now appear in Gallery 15 of the main site HEREThey were taken by Marie-Claude, known on this forum as "eiram".
