First off, can anyone here confirm the fact that ALL of Hayley's dates in the USA during the month of December are with the Boston Pops Holiday Tour? If so, this means that Hayley is performing as a guest artist with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. This also means that she would probably be limited to appearing for only about two or three songs. That is how much a guest vocalist with the Boston Pops generally is allotted. Can anyone here confirm this assumption? I'm thinking of possibly trying to attend the December 19th performance in Worcester, Massachusetts. But, I'm not sure yet.
Secondly, I am writing to inquire whether anyone here is planning on attending Hayley's appearance with the NEW YORK Pops, at Carnegie Hall, on Friday, October 22nd? I myself would love to attend, but I cannot, due to a conflict. (For all I know, the tickets might already be sold out, in any case?)
I'm just wondering... who on this board is lucky enough to be going there? Joe, are you? Natasha, are you? Anyone else here live close to New York City?
Whoever goes... please, please... give us all a first-hand report!!! We are "https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifying" to experience it vicariously, through you!

Hi Keith, I modified my USA concert listing above by adding some specific concert halls to a few dates. I also supplied links to the venues; many of which have ticket/seating info. Perhaps you may also use this list on HWI concerts page.
Hope you have a safe journey up to London to the Canada House concert in aid of UNICEF.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for that. That is a very useful addition to the information.
I'll copy it off and send it straight on to Simon.
The concert tour has been improving steadily, until last night at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. This one improved by a quantum leap. It was incredible to say the least.
Steve, Hayley's manager, has invited Roger and I to stay behind after the concert as there is going to be a soiree. Trouble is, I can't stay too long, I have a four hour drive home to make. Fortunately, it's motorway (freeway) most of the way.
But, I am not looking forward to the return journey at all. It means I will have taken my leave of Hayley and don't know yet exactly when I will see her again. Although I do have some information about next year, it can't be announced until contracts are signed. Until then, anything could happen and to say anything would just mislead people.
Keith.

Tough journey back, hmm...i had a six hour coach trip back to London arriving at 6am this morning. My only gripe is that it cost as much for the coach ticket as it did for the train up but that only took two and a bit hours. I wonder how Hayley gets around the UK.. Keith, you say its been improving steadily, how many venues have you been to exactly? I went to Manchester, thought it was GREAT and the Bridgewater Hall is a pretty snazzy place IMO; i picked up a copy of the special edition album on my way out. I got a few snaps right at the end [once the sining was finished] but there were apparently some people in the front 3 rows trying to an impression of a strobe light throughout or at least in the first half. One final question for now, stay behind after which concert? thanks Nick,

Hi Nick, The concert Keith mentioned is the UNICEF charity concert Hayley is performing this evening at the NZ High Commission in London (I think it's mentioned on Hayley's Official website). I wish I too could have gone but as it turned out I'm sat here sipping hot lemon with a raging sore throat so it's probably for the best! Obviously, Keith won't be online until tomorrow (reports, please!)

Oh, thanks for clearing that one up for me Dave I actually wnent to the UNICEF concert at tonight myself [got back on the train not too long ago] and believe me, i'm glad that i did. The best £138,00 i've spent in a very long time or ever. It was an honour to be there. I'll attach a pic which shows Hayley, Heather Nova and Mario Frangoulis after they'd sung "Hine e Hine" as a trio for the finale. Heather Nova hadn't sung in Maori before and it wasn't rehearsed but i thought ti was fantastic IMO. I hadn't heard Heather Nova sing before tonight's concert but now i have, her album is something that might be under the tree this year if you know what i mean. And it was all for a good cause too! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifApparently Hayley will be concentrating on her UNICEF work mroe next year and will be visiting the Ivory Coast for two weeks i believe. Now this was really something for me personally, i actually got to talk to Hayley , well for a minute anyway; i said to Hayley that she'd earned some time off with all this flying around the world for UNICEF and her touring commitments, i suggested 2006. Picture >> ERROR *Nick can't seem to get the d**ned image uploaded right now, whoops, i'll take a look at the problem tomorrow. Well i'm off for some Zzzz's now but i'll probably add mroe tomorrow. Oh and if this should've gone in the...er reviews section, apologies on that one. Nick,

Hi Nick (and Dave), Just now catching up on the last outstanding items. Nick, I have now been to FOUR events with hayley on this visit. I went to Cardiff, Llandudno, Manchester and London (for the UNICEF concert). Altogether, 1,000 miles by road. Dave, reports will be coming as soon as Simon can get them uploaded. There is a review from Roger, one from Paul and three photos during the performance (taken by me). That little lot should round off the HWI coverage of this visit to the UK very nicely. Cheers, Keith.

Hi All, I've just made a discovery of some photographs which I don't think have ever been posted on the 'HWI' Forum before! We look back three years in the archives (exactly three years this coming Monday as the days go in fact ). It is Monday 22nd November, 2004 at the Manchester Bridgewater Hall, where Hayley performed her last official Concert of the "Winter Pure Tour". I located the pictures below at the following location hereIt would appear these pictures were photographed using flash photography (which was very inconsiderate to the artists) from somewhere close to the front of the stalls. I was in fact present at that Concert myself (although I was sitting quite a bit further back) and I do recall that at the very start of the second half of the Concert, an announcement was made via the PA system, requesting people to refrain from using flash photography - since Hayley and her musicians were finding this very distracting during the first half . Anyway, these photographs are probably some of the very few which we will have access to from the "Winter Pure Tour". I didn't take any photographs during the Concert performance myself. These photographs really help to showcase Hayley's beautiful pink "banded/ ringed" dress! Enjoy! Andrew

Here are a couple of pictures which were taken after the Concert at the Manchester Bridgewater Hall on Monday 22nd November 2004. Are those 'HWI' royal blue jerseys which I can spot? If you look closely in the second of the two pictures, I think that's a reflection of Keith Sheel which we can see- notice the guy wearing his 'HWI' blue jersey. Andrew

It would appear these pictures were photographed using flash photography (which was very inconsiderate to the artists) from somewhere close to the front of the stalls. Hi Andrew, I suspect that the photographer had a special authorization to use flash photography because I have seen these pictures on several official agency pictures' websites. These are professional photographs which means that the venue authorized the photographer to take pictures during the concert. Many thanks for posting these superb pictures! Stephany
