Hi Nick,
First. Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here and hope you enjoy it.
I have never been to the RAH but, I did a little thinking about the layout of the building. If your seat is "Arena", that means the main floor of the hall will be filled with seating (the arena area is always part of the display and dedication service during the Festival of Remembrance which means there are no seats then). Between you and the stage, you should have a totally clear view. As far as I know, there are no seats in the RAH with restricted views.
Hope you enjoy the concert. I know the high-point of the evening will be Hayley and you will get a lot more from her live performance than you will ever get from any CD.
Perhaps I could ask you a favour. After the concert, would you like to write a review of it for Hayley Westenra International? We would really be very grateful.

Very tired, but very happy after a more than 600 mile round trip to be present at the recording of Loose Lips. Hayley was, as always, brilliant.

Hi all, I'm resuscitating this thread from the dead (can you believe it, this concert was almost four years ago!  ) because I've found a few pictures of Hayley at the RAH on December 10th, 2003. Unfortunately the photographs are tagged but they are worthwhile even then! Credit goes to Brigitte Engl from MusicPictures.com. Hayley looks great, as usual  Stephany  |
