Hello Everyone, Just watching the evening news, I saw an advertisement of Close-Up tonight, and Hayley and Dave Dobbyn are going to be interviewed. Keep a watch on onenews.nzoom.com where there will be a video of the report. I'll report back after I've watched it, and tell you all about it! Dori

Hi everyone and Dori,I have just finished watching a very relaxed Hayley and Dave on tonights Close up There was also a shot of Hayley and her brother Issac singing together with Issac on Guitar. All in all, I thought it was a good interview. I reckon were in for a brilliant concert if this is anything to go by. Bring it on Wiapara it should be a cracker.
I will keep an eye on CTV just in case they also appear on our local channel
Thanks Dori for starting this thread it saved me hunting for the right place,
Cheers,
Rodders.
PS Dave if your reading this I have recorded this interview as back up in case it's needed,
cheers,
Rodders

Hi everyone, I also watched it online. It was a great interview - they really seem to get along well. Close-up 'big' interviews are usually available on the Close Up website so I'm pretty sure this one will be on it too pretty soon. Stephany

Hello again folks! I downloaded Media Player 9 and the video played perfectly this time. I'm warming to Dave Dobbyn now, but I was particularly impressed with Isaac's guitar playing. I think Hayley's ideal band would be Fiona Pears on fiddle, Ian Tilley on piano and Isaac on guitar and backing vocals. He could sing a couple of solos too. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Dori, Rodders and everyone! That was a super video and worthy of a place on our site. Dave? I wonder if this was an impromptu performance for Hayley and Isaac because I don't think that was Isaac's own guitar. It looked as though he had borrowed Dave's 12-string. Roger

What an excellent video!
Great to see Hayley and Isaac performing together - Isaac looking quite the business in 'that hat'!
Hayley and Dave certainly seem to make a good duo and are obviously enjoying working together. Hard to believe that Hayley had not heard him sing live before last years memorial unveiling at Hyde Park Corner.
I'm also beginning to realise that 'Shepherds Bush' is becoming quite legendary. Quite something to be able to say "I was there!!"
Best wishes Grant

I know how you feel Steve, for it to not play on Windows Media properly. Hopefully our team can sort something to have you see it! It was a great interview! Dori
