Your informative post 13 Dave very interesting. How about this?
While downloads are an obvious replacement market for the Album, ironically the modern trend (for what ever reason) fall in total album sales takes us back to when 'the road concert tour' was the main source of promotion and income.
Arguably, not a bad change?

Hi Stephany! What a great article you've found! They seem to have so much fun together like one could hear in the interview you've posted as well. I like the story where Hayley lose the door keys. :rollin I had a good laugh and remembered the story Gerald told me in CHCH last year. He said that Hayley forgot her passport when they were on the way to the airport and Gerlad had to "exceed" the speed limit a little to get her to the airport in time. Best wishes, Thomas

Hi Stephany, I don't think they could 'act' these expressions. They really are enjoying themselves and having a ball ! Graham

Hi All.
I think the one Time Out chose for their cover is the best of all.
Wow!, what a Hayley. That chick could really rock if she wanted to. I think what we are beginning to see is far more of the 'off stage' Hayley. I reckon our Hayley is quite a Tomboy at heart. If she hadn't been so caught up with her singing and single-minded with it, she might well have been a bit of a trouble-maker. In that photograph you could imagine her as the leader of our 'street gang' and for ever in trouble! Is Dave bringing something out in her of which she herself was unaware?
I kinda like all this fun and games stuff!

Hi Stephany,
I love the scans! - Hayley how we have never seen her before! - as you say they both look like they were really enjoying themselves.
Dave Wrote:
I couldn't agree with you more Dave, Hayley has to diversify her income, record sales alone now days will not sustain a career in music - and I am glad, keep the concerts coming I say!

The pictures are a little reminiscent of the covers of the two albums:
Fleetwood Mac and Rumours... Just a little......

Your informative post 13 Dave very interesting. How about this? While downloads are an obvious replacement market for the Album, ironically the modern trend (for what ever reason) fall in total album sales takes us back to when 'the road concert tour' was the main source of promotion and income. Arguably, not a bad change? Peter S. Hi Peter and Dave Even in their prime I dont think that album sales numbers were ever the prime source of income for an artist (about 99 percent of the time). With rare exceptions there is simply too much overhead involved for the artist to see much from that at the end of the day. Even with this in mind however, I think that over the course of the next few years we may well see the album sales numbers replaced by download volumes (or other internet sales numbers) as the most important "diagnostic" stats we can site. Having said this, I still think that there has to be some sort of commercial success to prop up tour income, because the two things have a somewhat synergistic link. Note that Dave above links the upcoming Japanese tour with the release of a unique product in that market. He is I think on the right track there - and with proper traning we may just make something of him yet Getting back on topic......regarding the photos in which they switched roles Peter, you stated above that the experience with Dobbyn may have brought something forth in Hayley she didnt know was there. It is far more likely in my opinion that it brought something forth that she knew very well was there but of which we were unaware. That would be one very good addtional ancillary reason to do that little mini tour with him Jon
