Hello everybody! Hayley and Dave Dobbyn were interviewed on Radio NZ on January 28, 2008 and the interview lasts 27 minutes! They are all very relaxed and it's a pretty interesting interview. You'll probably have a few laughs listening to it. I know I have Perhaps Dave can retrieve it for posterity (not Dobbyn, the other - our very own Dave - ) ? Thanks in advance! To listen to the interview, go to the Radio New Zealand website[/u] and click on 'Eight Months to Mars - Dave Dobbyn and Hayley Westenra'. Enjoy! Stephany

Perhaps Dave can retrieve it for posterity (not Dobbyn, the other - our very own Dave - ) ? Thanks in advance! Who me? I'm getting confused enough as it is, what with all these references to "Dave" and now, one of the UK TV channels has changed its name to Dave! Um... well OK then, I'll nip off to NZ (on the Internet!) to record it while I listen to it with one ear and listen out for Hayley on Classic FM with the other! Cheers, Dave D... no, not him - this Dave! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifEdit: Got it! better listen to it now Ooooh.... Debbie Wiseman's music is about to start on Classic FM, yes!

Yes, I liked it! Particularly the bit about the world's sexiest vegetarian that likes barbecues! I would have liked to know which Dusty Springfield and Stevie Wonder songs she chose though. ! Those two are both musical heros of mine.

The part where Hayley said 'I quite like Earth' was hilarious Oh, I've also got a question. Hayley was complaining about how Dave D. 'nicknamed' her. Did anyone catch the name? I'm not sure I heard it well. Thanks! Stephany

Hello Richard and everyone I'm listening to this interview at the moment. Hayley and Dave sound very comfortable together so I'm sure those going to these concerts will have a great time. Richard, I've nothing against Dave as a person - I just don't like his singing voice! Best wishes Grant

Hayley says "It's a bit too early to say ...." but she does sound interested. I don't think Hayley will ever put down an idea without serious consideration, so we may well get the album in a couple of years. Like Dave's voice or not, I would definitely buy the album. Lots of Love Grant

Yes, the name was Kylie, Stephany. Herlarious!! Hi Dori and Stephany and everyone, I've now listened to the interview too and it was one of the best and most relaxed that I've ever heard Hayley do, she's obviously feeling at home back in NZ at the moment and seems to enjoy the company of Dave Dobbyn. I think her NZ accent has broadened again too, which might explain why you didn't catch part of what she said Stephany. The bit where she accused Dave Dobbyn of calling her Kylie nearly had me falling off my chair, I thought it was hilarious! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTo save anyone who missed it trawling through the broadcast again, here is the Calling Me Kylie[/u][/url] clip. Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave Don't know whether it's just me, but the clip cuts of just before Hayley says "Kylie" Best wishes Grant PS: Just tried it again at 3.45pm and it works now! Superb clip!! You had more luck than I, Grant. At 16:30 London time 6th Feb I tried and twice the browser cut out and asked if I wanted to send an error report, which I always do just to indicate my displeasure. Fortunately I was using Mozilla which when restarted asks if i want to start afresh or reconnect with where I was. The second time that didn't work but that could be due to the time lapse as I had 190 latest posts search on to help me catch up, so I don't blame Mozilla for that. Any chance of a Dave post, please? Peter S.
