If we can win meaningless polls for Hayley, let's prove we can do it when it really matters!!
Good luck Hayley!!
Very well said, Grant! Here's the important link again: www.classicalbrits.co.uk/ Richard

An argument could be made that multiple voting by individual fans makes the winning of a Classical Brit less meaningful. The sad fact is, everyone's doing it. All the nominees have their fan clubs stuffing the ballot on their behalf. In the end it's simply a matter of whose fans were the most obsessive in getting their repeat votes in. If everyone plays by the rules, the system will work as it should and the winner will be truly deserving.

Doing so may jeopardise valid voting anyway and thus have a detrimental effect on the end result! Yes, we tend to bend the rules on 'meaningless' polls and that's nothing more than they deserve! This one has a lot riding on it and I would urge everyone to vote fairly. Getting all our friends to vote was what I meant when I said "Let's prove we can do it when it matters!" Best wishes Grant

No worries Grant! I know darn well Hayley's fans will vote only once. If her album loses because we didn't jam the vote, so be it. Who needs a rigged trophy anyway?

You can vote for Hayley and TREASURE www.classicalbrits.co.uk/Right hand side of the page. NS&I Album of the year awardyou CAN vote from ANY country . Well, not only did I vote for Hayley, but I forwarded her blog and a supporting note to approximately 1,000 of my Myspace "friends". I'm figuring that 25% of them will vote for our favorite performer. That's another 250 votes for Hayley! Gene

Hi everyone
Apart from voting myself of course, I have also been busy sending links to anyone I can think of who would support Hayley by voting. Lets keep up the activity. It will be beyond words to be in the audience if Hayley were to be announced the winner.
Best regards mark

Hi all! I've left a message in the guestbook of Hayley's German website to mobilise some more fans to vote. On her German site the latest mention is about the upcoming album of Mike Oldfield but there's no mention of the Classical Brits so far. Well, I've changed that. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif At least I've tried. There's no forum on the German site, just a guestbook. And it takes a few days until a written message will be posted. Each message will be checked by the administrator before it will be posted due to spam protection. But it should be still early enough to get some extra votes, hopefully. Thomas

By the by, is it a DJ do or will plebian dress be acceptable? Peter S. Being a classical event I wouldn't expect to see one DJ there ( ) and as far as the dress is concerned then the plebs I suspect will be wearing smart casual (or in our case the Westenra tie!). Martin Thanks for the reminder of the tie not just for that but for Croydon as well. Love the humerous riposte, could not have been better. Peter S.

I voted but did not like the fact that a phone number was required on an unsecured website. Well it was for Hayley and if I get unsolicited call I can complain to the FCC (telemarketers cant call cell phones). Monte Hi Monte. Is it unsecured? Surely to get at the information would mean a major download blog entry and for what? Okay ANY unnecessary info is a risk element but few would be ex-directory (as in fact I am) but telephone number and address is normally obtainable out of the book. For a phone number at all other than as nuisance calls for what benefit for so great an effort? It would be easier to read in the telephone book through a scanner if one wanted automated phone calling. As you say, 'it is for Hayley' ['so what the heck?' (implied)] but perhaps that additional item helps the authenticity guarantee that enables them to spread the opinion world-wide and I wonder why? Is it possible they have realised the advantage the Welsh have (Fron, LJ) by simply being Welsh? What we need now is for the Kiwis to do what I have always believed the Welsh have done in the past, stood for Wales regardless of the music! Pity it wasn't enabled two years ago. Peter S.

Hi all! Well, I've reserved my ticket! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm in Block H, Row 3, Seat 27First I tried to reserve online but they offered me Block M although most of you guys are in Block H. So I called the box office, told them my "problem" and now I'm in Block H as well. I've voted for Hayley as well. No problem to vote from other countries. I was a little tempted to vote for All Angels but I've got only one vote so what should I have done? Sorry, All Angels! Good luck for you! Thomas I agree in the 'difficulty' in deciding, as many of us here have met and love all four girls. HOWEVER! They are four and there's only 'little ole Hayley' on her tod, so no problem really. All Angels are a group as one unit BUT are four individual girls in four different schools so have four times as many friends as Hayley. No problem, really, is there? Peter S.
