Hi Steve, In case Richard has lost his calculator(!), I make it 22 so far. Anyone counting those who have declared their intention to go will arrive at a slightly lesser number. Let's say, I know something they don't know! Roger Actually, it's 22.5. My "Spirit" is worth 1/2 of a person.....and, I certainly hope that no one sits behind it. The wings are HUGE and you wouldn't be able to see anything.....

Sorry, but what I said was correct. Stephany and I (and one other!) will be immediately behind the reserved area on the stage side of the aisle in Block H, not behind Martin, George and Denise who are below it. I'm confused now Roger! Are the seat numbers not in line then? Best wishes Grant

Anyway, Hayley should know where we sit after our applause. Hi Thomas I think Hayley will know where we are sitting long before that!! Best wishes Grant

I'm confused now Roger! Are the seat numbers not in line then? Best wishes Grant Hi Grant, Not quite, no. Because the stalls are oval in shape, there are more seats along the back row of any Block than there are in the front. The first seat to the LEFT of the aisle in Block H, Row 1 is No 21. In the second row, it is No 22, the third, 23 and so on. In the back row it is No 31. Thanks Graham, there was indeed an error in my wording to Thomas. I have now amended it. Roger

In case anyone is still confused here is a seating plan. I apologise for the condition of the original but, like it's owner, it is old and tired! The auditorium:Please note, the seats in the Arena (central floor) will all be removed for this event. Instead, there will be small tables and chairs for the nominees and their respective parties, record company executives and so on. A close up of Block H and the side of the stage:The reason I advised booking Block H will become apparent on the night (if everything follows the usual pattern) but those steps at "B" are VERY significant!! Thanks for the seating plan Roger. It all becomes very clear now.
A question. How high above the Arena are the front row of stalls seats?
A suggestion. We often see seating plans posted for a particular venue where Hayley is appearing, then, when she appears there again, someone ends up rummaging through threads looking for it! What about having a thread somewhere prominent where seating plans could be kept together? Just a thought.
Best wishes Grant

A question. How high above the Arena are the front row of stalls seats? Hi Grant I believe the front row of stalls is merely a few feet above the arena. The interesting thing is that the lady in the box office recommended the middle of block H rather than block G because the stage is extended into the arena for this particular event. Regarding steps B then I am intrigued as the nominees will be sat at tables in the arena. I can only guess that the winners do not go back to their tables initially but exit using steps B. Am I corrent Roger? Best Wishes Martin

Hi Martin, Not quite but you are very close. It is true that the winners don't go immediately back to their tables in the Arena but they usually make their way back to them eventually... but not via those steps. I think that only leaves one other possible use for them! Roger

Roger Hi Roger Are you trying to say that Hayley will abandon her table in the auditorium so that she can sit next to all of us on steps B during the show ? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif If thats the case, I wish I had booked an aisle seat. Hi Mark, You wish! Okay everyone, please don't take this as any sort of guarantee but Mark's suggestion is not quite as unlikely as it sounds. In the past, Hayley has come to see us in Block H during the interval and after the event is over. She will know we are there and I am sure she will do so again if she gets the chance. Hang on a minute... If she comes to sit next to you Mark, and you have an aisle seat, that means she would have to sit on the floor! Huh, some fan you are! Roger

I am going will be in Block M row 2 first time I have never been able to get a front row seat . They had some front row M but further away from the stage so I opted for nearer the stage. I know that will have a good view from where I am. I will be staying over not sure where yet as I don't want to rush away after the concert. I have voted , It would be great if Hayley won. Maryxx
